Is it weird that I legitimately find Orin to be one of the easiest Stage 5 bosses and Reisen to be one of the hardest one? It's like, Orin's fast and linear attacks just seem simple to dodge, and the zombie fairy attacks are easily countered with a little bit of circular movement. With Reisen, however, I'm endlessly getting screwed up with the illusion attacks that make you think you're safe until it's too late.

@KlLLAH573 not really, I find stage 3 incredibly hard, due to the bullets coming randomly from 4 directions. 4 is annoying since it is hard to determine what kills you and what doesn't, although Satori is relatively easy for a 4th stage boss.

Stage 5 is annoying long and a tad challenging, but Rin is basically just way too easy.

@Endaviour You really think so? I find Stage 3 ridiculously simple. All the patterns are a joke to figure out. Also, how is it hard to determine what kills you and what doesn't? Stage 4 is really fun for me. I usually don't die UNTIL Stage 5... but I lose ALL my lives before I even get to Orin's 3rd spell card.

@Endaviour huh. That was never confusing to me. You can usually tell just by the angle, and that the bullets are bigger and less evenly proportioned than the powerups.

The cards? You mean the amulet bullets that the fairies shoot? They are pink/green in stage four IIRC. The powerups are red/blue. Plus the powerups have signs written on them.

If you practice the stage enough, it shouldn't be a problem anymore. :v

@Ritsuioko23 I don't hate her, I just dislike her. For me it's impossible to hate any characters in Touhou. I don't dislike her because she replaced Sakuya either, I just don't really like...her in general. I like Sakuya a lot, but Patchouli is my favourite in the whole series.

PoFV does take a good while to get used to, that's true (And it's just plain different from the other games in the series) but it's pretty fun soon. and MoF also has it's flaws, but I found it to be very good once I got used to it.

@sbricksful Stage 5 boss tend to seem harder because of the fact that, while their danmaku is not as numerous as their Stage 6 counterparts, they do tend to have a few tricks to them that make them more unpredictable than said Stage 6 bosses...

Hell, between them and the Stage 4 bosses of each game, by the time you make it to Stage 6, you know that you've earned the right to be there and face off against the final boss. Of that, I am sure.
