Well I think corruption goes a little too far. But I agree, with the 'foul', I also don't think much happened there! But I think Spain played a better tournament than Germany, so it is deserved for them to win. Germany also had some lucke moments in their previous matches. So congratulations Spain, well played.
And for 'the unlikely fan': Mate thank for the videos, it was fun to watch. Especially the first 4 videos. Hope to see you back soon!!
The reason the ref's calls were shit were because he's Italian. And I'm not sure if you noticed but the game Italy lost against Spain was reffed by a German ref. Enough said?
I don't want to be sour grapes or anything but Spain is so lucky. The hand ball in the box wasn't called, nothing was done about Silva's head butt and a foul was called (when it clearly wasn't a foul) and Germany had 2 men 5 meters away from the net. So a penalty wasn't awarded, a clear goal opportunity (like 99%) was called off and Spain went all game keeping all of their players. I have 1 word for all of you:
Spain had probably the best tournament ever. They are only the second team to have won EVERY SINGLE GAME in the tournament. They deserved that game sooo much more than Germany. The Germans had a few moments but Spain dominated them.
The "hand ball" was ball to arm... it just popped up on him and to give a pk for that would be a terrible mistake by the ref.
The headbutt involved both teams. Upon replay it looked like the German player initiated.
Ok look, Spain could have won by a lot but didn't finish their chances. That's something Spain has control over. Germany couldn't finish their chances because the ref waived them off (unfairly). That's something Germany doesn't have control over.
Who cares who initiated the argument, Silva did the headbutt.
I'm not sure if you watch football of not, but every hand ball call (90%) are ball to hand. And this was even worse because he kicked the ball onto his own hand!!
