Oh, if you read the rest of the Romans, those refer to the Pagan rituals. Sex in the Roman times was for pure pleasure. The master of the house can have sex with his slaves, man or woman. "Sodomy" as you might probably want to vilify it, was, in Roman times, a sign of dominance.

STOP picking out bits and pieces of your Bible to justify things. We as a species naturally advance our thinking, and religion always advances last.

There's no argument here, it's just a much of emotion. As far as marriage is concerned it's a religious institution, the state has no right to get involved in that. Now if same sex couples want to share the benefits of a civil union, then so be it. And don't bring interracial marriage into it, that has nothing to do with the religious institution that is marriage, the bible NEVER said that a black person couldn't marry a white person.
