  • Lol I remember every time we came here we were just total derps and ran straight into the center of the courtyard and would all ways get attacked by everything.

  • love this song... its soo Regal... and yet lighthearted

  • @Ss4gogeta0 I like this song, but except for near the end of the chorus, it sounds ominous to me. It makes me think of a witch, or magical/demonic creature living in the woods, plotting to catch and eat their next victims. (Think about the chefs coming after you with their knives!) Very Hansel and Gretel-sounding, in my mind.

  • @chaowalker Interesting Analysis... To me its more like your wandering through a "Castle Town" and the walkways are bustling with attractions.

  • @Ss4gogeta0 I wanted to try imagining things your way after reading it. My version of what you described is it'd be kind of like a Diagon Ally setting.

  • @chaowalker I was thinking more like the market in Ocarina of Time. It was a bit more colorful and had a vast array of things going on...

  • Why didn't they just knock? I doubt the guy would have cared about a few kids milking his tree. Wait...that came out wrong...

Anyway, you know what I mean.

  • When I played this level with my brothers, we had no idea how to get to Jack. Not until literally about a year later when we played the game again, and finally found out how to get to him. -.-*facepalm*

  • UGH I hated waiting for the buttons under the doors.

  • hihi hab was geiles entdeckt haha

  • I remember this level. I got my ass handed to me so much.

  • I don't own a shawm, but I can play this on my recorder :3

  • 0:23 Hole in my bucket....hole in my bucket..

    Always reminded me of that.

    Fabulous song. Fabulous game.

  • @DGrant1010 thx for ruining a perfectly good song for me now that all i can think wen i hear this song

  • @hoolioscoolios Lol. My bad :)

  • Why would you break into a monster habitat for a drop of water WTF!

  • 1st cycle dairy entry: "Maybe I should have knocked?" ya think? lol

  • If someone came up in my house with a chalice i would be like BITCH get your own myrh.

  • I remember bringing rather new characters through this level first. So much fun. We (my friend and I) got our asses kicked, but we managed.

  • try after try my friends and i try to beat Jack and Maggie.. but we always end up failing and dying...

any suggestions or clues on how to beat them??? (O___o)

  • @nejirox51693 Drive Maggie off first. She makes so Jack can heal. If you beat maggie, Jack can't heal.

  • @UnsentLegacy lol. tried that.... while we are fighting maggie.. jack keeps coming after us... and then we die. i guess we will just try harder! >:D

  • @nejirox51693 It may be different in Multiplayer mode.... *is guilty of playing only single player* Never thought of that....

  • @UnsentLegacy Also, if this is your first time through this level, you might want to consider properly equipping you magic so you can start strong with gravity.... It does a pretty keen amount of damage first hit, plus it grounds the gargoyles, making them less of a nuisance...

  • @UnsentLegacy

No healing magic is in this place.

  • @Barbe Actually, there is healing magic in this place. The two chests in the main courtyard area either by Maggie's room or the room right across from hers have either a Cure spell or a Life spell, depending on which on you open.

  • @Mayakanai65

Well I didn't get that item. Because of it, I had to use a ton of apples (had a blonde Clavat) to heal.

  • @Barbe Well, now you at least know where it is now xD;;

  • @Mayakanai65

    Exactly! XD!

  • @Mayakanai65 Seriously? There are days of my life I'll never get back...lol.

  • @jessredhawk07 aww D: Like I told Barbe, at least you know now!

  • @UnsentLegacy i think you are right. xD

  • feel like a lord!

  • this is my favrote place in the game :)

  • LOL I'm cooking while listening to this music!

  • The sad truth about this level it shows how rude the caravan is

While monsters are enjoying a wealthy life minding their own business

Caravaners just barge in killing every body for a drop of myrrh

  • Who would of thought monsters could have a fancy lifestyle and be engaged :O

  • i recommend sitting down drinking a nice cup of tea while listening to this ^^ right?

  • lolol sometimes you have to warm yourself in blood.

  • even though Jack and Maggie are monsters you gotta admit your caravan is being a total bunch of jerks. You break into his house, murder his pets and guardians, slaughter his chefs, beat up his wife and kick him out of his own house just so you can steal a drop from his myrr tree.

  • @TheGreasyGremlins Correction, you walk into his house and his pets and chefs try to KILL you and put you into dinner before you can explain you would be out of their hair in less than five minutes if they could just let you go into the backyard.

  • @TheGreasyGremlins i was totally thinking that all while playing the game its just, what has to be done has to be done xD

  • @TheGreasyGremlins I guess knocking on the door and asking to borrow a drop of Myrrh never crossed their minds.

  • @TheGreasyGremlins thats why i never enter that place

  • @TheGreasyGremlins Lol! the Lamia wife is pretty hawt though... And yes my caravan, even though it was just me and a moogle carrying my chalice of rainbows, were jerks and have done this cruel thing to a monster spouse, just to steal that drop of myrr my village needed ever so badly. Lmao! If only we could have taken the crystal nd the vilage people and lived there.

  • @TheGreasyGremlins lol well when you put it that way it may sound bad but....oh who am i kidding your right :)

  • @TheGreasyGremlins No, you got it wrong. Two days later a group of the royal guard examined the mansion, it turns out there was an illegal slave trade going on in the basement. Fifty plus slaves were freed, half of them were Clavats... The caravan was justified in rushing in and beating them up...

  • @TheGreasyGremlins

Thus we are the Chaotic-good alignment

not bad in the grand speck of things especially if you think on the matter of the monsters eating people from your tribe

  • @TheGreasyGremlins Lmao this made me laugh so hard

  • Is there a Crummhorn in this song?

  • @LaArcieroProfano yopz :)

  • WHERE IS MAH DINNAH!?

  • I hate you Jack Moschet! Your freakin' minty fresh breath attack sickens me!

  • This song inspired me to make a song in 3/4 time.

  • I could so do a waltz to this at some snooty rich ppls party :3

  • I wonder if the title of this song is a reference to that story, the gift of the magi. Surely, Jack and Maggie are the polar opposites of the characters from that story... They're rich... selfish... gigantic... And the moral of the story is that it's the thought that counts... but the whole reason that Maggie got mad at Jack was that he didn't think to have dinner ready for her. :P

I dunno, maybe I'm looking into this too much.

  • @Sayeth0Di0Puppeth That's about right about this level's story.

  • im giting a 130$ or 250$ key bord :D

  • @keithhicks98 Coolstorybro

  • @kanor13 wha about mai dad?

  • Anyone have sheet music for this?

  • @DonPortulinus Yeah, my friend got me this Japanese piano book with all the songs in it. Unfortunately I do not have the means to copy it, but it's out there.

  • Alternate title: Snooty Suzerain.

  • i love this song, i can sit in that level just listening to this song :)

  • @Darogun lol y not?

  • @Darogun u can? it kinda sounds idk somber

  • lalal
