In reading books on his presidency found that he had the wrong people around him that had their own agenda and were not fully telling him the truth when they should have and when he found out it was like closing the barn door after the horse is out.

The invasion of Iraq was arguably the most justified case of military action the U.S. has ever taken in its history, based on national defense, validated intelligence and legal authority, not to mention morality. Probably his best press conference ever! From 26:00 to 34:00 was something I wish I saw more of from him. My only wish is that many would take the time to research, factual research, to see the threat Saddam Hussein posed to our country in the post 9/11 world! Search Iraq: Setting the record straight. The PDF document(with References) is probably the best factual history review of the problems with Iraq. It's a pretty long, maybe 100 pages, but skim through, take a look, and educate yourself!

I don't care what anyone says, I like President Bush. For 8 years he has provided me with some of the best entertinment that I could ask for. His failure in terms of foreign and domestic policy, holding press conferences, spending vacation time, and speaking are nothing short of humorous. I think we, as Americans, all need to laugh because if we didn't, depression and suicide are definite realities. Thank you fmr President, for making me laugh and cry at the same time.
