I just read the manga last night and i was soooo mad when i found out that kagura got killed by Naraku!!!! I was really sad when she died : ( !!! I knew she would turn out to be good! I really wanted her to live!!!

I think that event was Rumiko Takahashi's greatest failing..

Kagura was one of the best, most interesting characters that she made and 2 kill her like that with no explanation was just cruel...

I mean, really, if Sesh's sword can resurrect Goshinki's head, y cant it stop the miasma from melting Kagura? especially when her body was finally whole..also he had never felt compassion 4 anyone b4 her..that alone should have given xtra power to tenseiga.

Honestly I think that they stopped the anime short the way they did because they didnt want 2 kill Kagura.. because, apart from her having a ridiculous amt of fans that would be really pissed off to see her killed in the anime, her death marked the beginning of the end of all things consistent in the storyline of the manga... no one important died up 2 that point, then Kagura died in an unnecessary, poorly-explained way and takahashi proceeded to kill almost all the rest of the side characters
