Just in case you did not know; the Quran is an Arabic recitation which means that which is recited. It is recorded in book form for the convenience of those whom have not memorized every verse. It has survived intact for 1400 years simply because it is a recitation.

And it has missing fossils which means you can't really make links between organisms of different species from different generations without solid proof. For example, if one layer was taken out of the eye, the eye would be useless.

It was very different than the style of poetry the Arabs were used to. So, how can an illiterate man make a text that was so different from what the Arabs were used to. And again, Arabs of that time were known for their eloquence in speech.
