Wondering, guys, do you know how the price of oil is factored there in the USA?

Here in Portugal: Gasoline | Diesel

Crude: 29% | 35%

Refining: 5% | 9%

Retailer: 7% | 9%

Taxes: 59% | 47%

(17% are general sales taxes; the rest is a sales tax on oil.)

In absolute terms (GALP - May):

Per Litre: Gasoline: 1.49 EUR Diesel: 1.41 EUR

Btw, it's predicted gasoline will be priced at 2.24 EUR per litre as oil gets to the 200 USD per barrel point. Politicians here are already trying to cut taxes on oil, which goes to highways and stuff, to be replaced by tolls, and even using the general revenue taxes.
