@kfarookahmed its not actually like that. i have one and its very fast, just as fast as any other capacative touch screen i.e iphone. this'll just be a brand new phone and is just running a little slow to start... they warm up ;)

TF3D 2.6 needs a snapdragon in order for it to run properly according to what I have read. Only expect 2.5 on the TP2 as it only a nicer lookin device than the origanl TP. No major upgrades except for screen and KB.

The operation is too lag as I see. Why dose htc choose such a complex way to show the media and who can tell me what the black sidebar's fuction is @2:07? I don't think it is necessary to add 3d in mobile phones. The performance of today's mobile devices can not be high enough to deal with so complex codes. Except making lag, I cannot see any advantage with touchflo!! Just be simple&smooth, ok? (simple ~= ugly) What's you guys's idea?

The Black Sidebar would normally show the songs, song length etc listed there in the order of the album or playlist if its a album or playlist you are playing if not just the songs info. HTC smokes out iPhone by far steve dosnt have a chance!!

Love the new manila but i think it needs some more time to get quick and smooth.

Just hope we get an option to have coloured icons or not. I honestly prefer the black and white icons, altough I'm totally not a business professional or anything. But I didn't buy my Touch Pro 2 to have some chaotic childish look, and that is unfortunately where this is heading.

wow, your loss then, considering the IPhone still can't do flash or multi task and that it's interface is starting to show it's age now. But then people like yourself will keep it alive by being blinded and surrounded by hype unable to contemplate what the future Leo can do, with a snapdragon processor that can process 1GHZ, ompared the the Iphone's 650 plus MHZ processor, the Leo will have 4.3 capactitive touchscreen whilst the Iphone has the ageing 3.5 inch display since 2007. Your loss.

willilau, you're comparing a phone which is currently on the market against one that is still in development.

The iPhone will *probably* soon have flash, and the truth is most people wouldn't know what to do with multitasking on a handheld if it came up and smacked them in the face.

Further more its difficult to compare processors by clock rate alone.

All that said, I have an HTC Diamond and love it and I'm looking forward to the HTC Leo or the Omnia II. I'm just not an iPhone kind of guy.

no, colour makes it stand out and makes the interface more usable and standout, there's nothig wrong with the colour icons. Embrace change and don't pine for something in the past, cause you won't get it back, I can promise you that.

Okay Ive been using this for a few hours and I just want to quickly point out a few things. The action laucher on the home screen is gone (I used this alot)

the programs list is only 9 long and after that you have to go into WM start menu to lauch a program (unbelievable)

The new media viewer is nice but far to slow (on the Touch HD) to be useful

The new icons look like crap (personal opinion)

Other than that, new calendars great, TouchFlo hides WM better and new email program is better

I had always problem with the album arts on touch flo, it always showed me the same for all songs, even when they had diffrent album arts.

is this fixed in this version of manila?

This demo is on a ROM, the actual Devices with TouchFlo 2.6 will be MUCH faster, and much more Robust, so they'll be able to handle great quality and blazing speeds.

it most definetly will be, more RAM more space on the device, better graphics processors etc. Leo should be a Great device to use.

I really like the look of the Albums and Music but I dont see it being used very often. Pretty slow way to search through your music list if its anywhere near as big as mine. Maybe on a blistering fast handset (like the leo) it would be a pleasant experience.

no. touch diamond 2 = touch diamond 2. the Leo is a completely new device although it has not been released yet. touch flo 2.6 is the ROM that came from the speculated Leo
