i figured out what the cores do. the first one (as GLADoS said) kept her from releasing that nuero (yes it is spelt wrong) toxin and that is why the enrichment center is empty. the cake mix one made her talk about the cake. the curiosity one made her keep asking what you were doing when she says the test is impossible. the anger one made her threaten and such if the test subject got to close to the truth or when you did something wrong.

What? Portal 2 was eons better than the first (at least in my opinion). The puzzles were more complex, the storyline fleshed out more, comical writing, a breathtaking art style and superb voice acting from Stephen Merchant and Ellen McLain.That's my opinion anyway.

However, outside of co-op, I thought the puzzles were far easier than in the original Portal.
