any info on a parking ticket that was issued with an on the spot fine .when there was no law broken .only the police said the law was broken ,when the could not establish that the law was broken?

@61shirley i did not sign repeat did not sign anything and i said i dont understand the charge .the ticket was written by drug squad police who refused my request for a traffic officer who could have established if i was breaking the law.i broke no law ,rule contract,opinion or ethics ..can i private message you to give you the facts as a comment box is to small ..any advice will be greatly appreciated .but i live in scotland and i know the law works different from england.can you please help

@CaptainKidd2006 A valid point mate. Every parking ticket is an individual attempt to engage in a contract. They have to establish joinder for every ticket they give out.

How I deal with parking tickets is I send the shit back and Write them that I will pay immediately upon presentment of a signed invoice or an Affidavit stating that I actually have to pay this ticket (honour/dishonour).

Yep..i have 2 parking tickets on me that has resulted in a "warrant of execution" being served by a court to have baliffs come round....I have said to them in writing that i would be happy to deal with it, when they provide me with evidence of performance and contract...they wrote back to me saying that they DONT have a contract with me and the contract they have with the council is "private"

@switchest26 they have no case. check the letter from the so-called court and check the signature. Bailifs have to be court appointed. Not council appointed debt collectors. Also ask them for a "Bill" and you also have the right to be given the "top white copy" of any such ticket either parking or speeding

Of course parking tickets are not the law, but to understand why you need to learn the common law, which is easy.
