This was one of my favourites on the Amiga. The graphics and framerate were not as good (unless you had an accelerator card) but the sound and music was better.
Holy crap! this brings back memories! I had this on a one of this big floppy discs. It was an excellent game - the graphics were tolerable but the gameplay and the physics engine was amazing - modern day games like GT5 fall short in this respect.
Thanks for the vid! Where did you get the game from - is it available to download?
A true classic indeed. I played this when I was about 14-16 and especially loved the track designing section of the game. I got really good at it. Later on in the late 90's living in a different location tried to get the game back again on a computer by calling some friends, but no luck. Those were the days...
i used to play this game. it was great that you could create your own track but i then moved onto need for speed 1 and 2 before starting with the ps1. To think i get annoyed with framerates on gta 4 i should be thanking my lucky stars that the graphics have evolved.
@MustNotRead this was for computer game on Dos in 1991. thats why its bad, although I've played this before, the great thing of this game, you can customize your own track and drive.
hmm... for the amiga? i have no idea then. stunts is an MS-dos program. and so is never lock. look up never lock on wikipedia or something. you might find out something for your programs
mine would never play, always said i had the security word wrong.. page 26, column 6 line 2 word 5.. ALWAYS get it right and would still say wrong. top game tho, eventually just bought a crack for it.. classic!
On my copy when I use to start a race a text box would appear saying "20 BNH mate!" And if you pressed 'P' it would say "Wanky Stuart March stinks" WTF??
I wasted hours of my youth making crazy tracks in this game! There were so many bugs in it it was ridiculous. For example you'd crash, and then suddenly the car would fly miles into the air and land stuck half-way into a hill XD
this game wa sawesome! Haven't seen these images in years!
I remember one of our fave things was to make "Death Jumps" as we called them - you put the "up ramp" to a jump at the edge of a hill, then the landing area on the ground at the bottom of the hill. Killer jumps - you had to take them at just the right speed or else you'd crash by landing too far or falling in between the ramps!
I use to make all these ridiculous replays on Skids I might try it again sometime. There was a bug where you were at top speed all the time regardless of the terrain.
Played the DOS version all the time. So fast back in the day compared to other racers. Thanks for posting. Great memories.

Great game, spent years making tracks and playing it. The AI characters were fun, unique and had amusing spoken lines, hehe. The music was great too.

try using Never lock loader if you still have the game it defeats the document check so you don't have to bust out the manual everytime.

if Stunts wasnt made, we didnt have Trackmania, it all began with Stunts!!
psuBenjami 3 years ago
best part about stunts is the game will fit on ONE 1.44MB disk so a few custom tracks can be loaded on the disk and taken anywhere!
ratix98 3 years ago
You give him the best car in the game, and he STILL calls it a piece of junk. What a loser.

ratix98 4 years ago
yea, do a few jumps and get full revs in mid-air and that was you locked on full speed. Worked ideal if the circuit was all banked corners
