the pianist? Johnny Costa. the program? Mister Rogers' Neighborhood of Make-Believe. and the last song, "Children Can" was written by Fred Rogers.
i was lucky enough to hear her in boston. she was basically in the same vocal condition then.
5 minutes after she started singing, the sound of her voice didn't matter.
this beautiful lady had transfigured into the most marvelous story teller ever heard or seen.
