Tam's Macabi Skirt

I really like that skirt Tam. To the folks who commented as to why? Not only are skirts more modest. They fit our bodies better. Our backsides are covered when we take care of business outdoors. Women wear skirts because they are more comfortable than pants. Campmor used to carry a similar skirt and I was looking for one like it. Thanks for the video and review. Now I know where to order. As soon as I get to town and make a deposit I will be getting a couple.

Excellent review. Got one a couple of years ago and use it for everything. Being a man though, wearing it as skirt can drum up a lot of looks and comments.

I really appreciate the depth of this video. I bought a Macabi Skirt several years ago for my trip to India and mostly just used it as-is. It was a great travel skirt, but I never figured out how to operate all the features. This really clarifies how everything works.

I personally prefer my wife and baby girl wearing a dress and having long hair (baby is still growing hers - a woman's hair is her glory IMHO). It's a modesty thing. The modern American woman can sometimes be an enigma: I have witnessed so many who are defenders of feminist principles, and at the same time dress provocatively, and then wonder why men look at them as sexual objects. Never understood that.

I like this little shelter Dave it will survive a person well even in very cold. A tarp can be carried & you have made a stove with the premise I presume that a 5 gallon oil can or some such with maybe a garbage dump & discarded cans could be found.

My kilt is the regimental kilt for Royal Canadian Regiment 3 Company. I no longer serve so I no longer need to wear one. My family kilt is a Stuart clan kilt, with access to the Black Watch, (army service and family Heritage).

For anyone ordering, they make all their sizes on the large size, so don't order bigger, my skirt is a medium and it's got plenty of room!

Ill be the first man to admit I would wear that...more comfy looking that a kilt...and you can clip the strap to keep things for being seen that just shouldnt be seen. I think im going to have to order one of thos and give it a try. and yes...Im a 100% straight male...lol

If you check the website you'll see the link for men, they seem to love them kayaking and canoeing too. I love how fast they dry and how they keep water away. The fabric is so neat how it keeps you warm, yet when it's hot you don't overheat.

Hi Tam. Thanks for the video. I love long skirt. I ware them about 90% of the time that I am not at work. I think they look great and like you said they are so comfortable.  Thanks for the link. It is hard to find a good long skirt and I think this one is perfect.

I love all your videos and you're so helpful and informative. But I don't mean any offense but as a woman it never occured to me to even think of wearing a skirt into the woods...why not wear a comfy pair of jeans or any type of pants really?

I've tried both and simply prefer skirts :) Try it some time, I love the non restriction and the comfort.
