I also feel a million times better now and found out through God in the ward I just have Bipolar disorder. Now I'm feeling great and resting in Gods love, peace, and joy. It's resonating from my body like in the bible when God brought the spirit on Steven before he was killed by the pharisees.
I've had some mental traumas recently. I began to wonder if I'm just crazy? I even wound up in ward for 3 days. Read my bible there non stop. So did many in there. Even the ones who did seem crazy read along with me and one man even explained to me how God loves all of us; You may not know but he even gave Lucifer/Satan a second chance and that's why he still lives. My point is God tells me in this song whatever he's doing with me he has me in His right hand, im not crazy, its something heavenly
"Time to make right what has been made wrong" This makes me think of how much the world needs God. It brings tears to my eyes knowing how many people dont even know God or Jesus.
"Do whatever your doing inside of me" reminds me of how God has gone through me to reach out to people. Sometime I wont know what to say to someone but God will suddenly speak words through my mouth. His words are sharper than any sword. I pray God speaks through you to other people and the same for them. Amen~
there is alot of proof that god exists just look around the world around you, everything had to be created, it couldnt have happend from as scientists say "a big bang" becuase you cant create something from destruction. and people havent seen god face to face unless they are dead. you just have to believe he is real. you have ot have faith. faith is key:)

Although a lot of what Christians follow is found in both jewish and muslim religion, there's a major difference. Neither one of those religions admit that Jesus is the messiah. You also took the part of childish things out of context as well. Childish things are what the world is full of. God's love, truth and wisdom is what makes a man mature. You sound angry and disappointed by God.

Great song. We're doing this Sunday for church (May 8th 2011). Jenicide...it's exactly the way it's supposed to be feel - and even if it doesn't God is faithful to stay close by your side. He is passionate for you and will continute to pour that passion for Him into you. No matter what, he is faithful and will never leave you. @staarlee God has a sense of humor too. Life is also too short to waste time doing the wrong things. You can have tons of fun doing the right things. Like you said, everyone will believe what they want, and (not sayin ur wrong) I'm not taking a chance that we r here all by chance. Nobody always does the right things. I've been pleading God for help, yet I will always ask "WHY do I have to go through this? WHY am I in so much pain?" But this song...is telling me I'm not alone. This song has played such a huge role in my life recently! it has caused me to stop and pray and ask God what he wants me to do with my life and through all of the chaos he has showed me that music is what he wants me to pursue so I'm going for it! he is showing me what i want isn't always his plan as I found out today when i worked my butt off for a lead in a play and it was given to someone else who got it for what seems like the wrong reasons but im trustin God through it all.

Hey thank you everyone for your support and love. It's wonderful experiencing the brother/sisterhood in the Christian family. Still having trouble finding a church that suits me but I will be checking out another one this coming Sunday. But on a personal note I have been reading and studying the Word and I have started a discipleship program with a minister friend of mine. So it has been a little bumpy trying to understand it all but when that light bulb does pop on it is totally worth it. :-)
I was saved a week ago and I'm learning more and more about God. Well I threw out my metal cds and now I'm looking into Christian music and I came across this song and I love it. It's a strange feeling to feel this way, but I can feel Him in me. So much love and guilt. A desire to live for Jesus. I had no idea it was like this. Opening my heart and asking Jesus to come in and forgive me is the best thing I have ever done. I feel Him.
@Jenicide79 oh wow, i am exactly the same way. 2yrs ago i got into a relationship and he showed me the path to Jesus Christ. though we recently ended, i found so much comfort, care, and love in our Lord and Savior. It is strange. I have never been religious, but oh my, this feeling is sooooo wonderful! letting Jesus into my heart and life is so much but i am ready. its nice to see another like me. :)

@senese Thanks. It has gotten stronger. And I must say that no matter how long I live I will always be marveled by the fact that He listens to a simple life like me. I am learning to hear Him. It always moves me to tears when He comes like that. All I can do is thank Him for His love and guidance. With His guidance and His grace I am happy to report that my Grandmother is now interested in the Word and wants to know the Lord better. Praise Him! I didn't want to go to Heaven without Grandma. :-)
Metal got nothing to do with God or being saved or anything. It's a style of music, a harsh and pretty brutal one, but music nontheless. I like metal, doesn't mean i'm paegan or anything :D
@supapycs No supapycs. I never said anything bad about metal. I just said that I threw out all of MY metal cds. I threw them out because they were blasphemous not because they were metal. There are actually metal Christian bands out there. Some of them are pretty good too. :-) So no I am not chastising metal. Not at all. It was a personal decision made because of the content not the style.
Bless your heart dear, No one can explain that feeling but you. That feeling of peace and the fact that the future looks so promising. We only thank God for giving us His only Son Jesus. @Jenicide79 You inspire me! I just wanted to tell you that. I've been a Christian for a long time and I feel like I've wasted so much of my life doing stuff that's not important. Countless times I've failed to let God change me and do great things through me when I knew He was trying to, but I've learned I can't do anything about my past mistakes. It brings me so much joy in my own faith seeing how God has been changing you, because I love seeing how you wanted to change your life for Him!

@Matteus1624 Thanks! Yes I have found some Christian metal that I do enjoy. And as for the guilt.. well I have learned what forgiveness is. If you truly forgive someone you don't go on punishing them for the things that they have done, and the way I see it if we being imperfect people know how to forgive then I can't even begin to comprehend the depths of His mercy and forgiveness. So yes I now realize how much I am loved and that I am forgiven because I saw the truth and I asked for it.

@Alvaris Perhaps you misunderstood the point of what I said. The music that I got rid of was blasphemous. That is why I threw it out, and as for other music, I listen lots of other stuff. I was just checking out some worship music because it was suggested to me. So no I didn't just change to Christian music because I think that is all Christians listen to. I listen to other stuff myself. I just won't listen to anything demonic or blasphemous. But regardless I appreciate your advice and concern.
@Jenicide79 @Alvaris also, there's something in the Bible about praising God with joyous singing. something about the rocks and mountains singing and praising God. I forgot where it was, but i'm pretty sure you can get the same effect through subwoofers. I used to be a metalhead, then i wound up getting headaches... I changed to more soft things, and about that time, He called me closer. It led me here, among other places. God accepts any and all forms of worship.
@Jenicide79 You don't have to stop listening to metal! There are plenty of Christian metal bands (e.g., August Burns Red, Demon Hunter, RED, Dream Theater, As I Lay Dying, Flyleaf, etc.)
@Jenicide79 also, I don't think Christ has a problem with us listening to most songs, as long as they're not actually promoting evil, even if they aren't explicitly Christian. I still listen to Iron Maiden, Metallica, Sick Puppies, Trapt, etc. but I avoid most Judas Priest and Godsmack songs. Also, some bands might play a few songs you should avoid, but still play plenty of harmless songs.

@Japansepuppy2481 Well not to pry or anything, but that seems a little weird. I've read a lot of the old testament prophecies and such, and they seem to be pointing to some messiah. From what I've read, Jesus has fulfilled a lot of these things. How could it NOT be Jesus?

@Vdeogamer No one knows if God is real or not. Not truly. It cant be proved. Everyone says something different about God. There are bibles that say he doesn't even exist (different religions). You have to find your own way.
This is such a true song. We can't keep holding on to the sin on our lives. We need to give everything to God, and when we do we may not undersatdn everything that is happening, but the Lord will pull us through. We much have faith in him, trust that he knows whats best for us, and then obey his call for us no matter what it is!!

@saturdaynight320 It's kind of the fact the Holy Spirit allows us to communicate directly to God, Jesus is our middle-man who was required for salvation. We pray to God and discuss with God if you think about it. The idea of three in one is rather confusing even to me, I've been saved for like three years now. But it's God we pray to for forgiveness through Christ's sacrifice. If we get a response it's through the Holy Spirit. :/

@nzobriens That was a good twist and all, but you're taking a lot of stuff out of context. Although a lot of what Christians follow is found in both jewish and muslim religion, there's a major difference. Neither one of those religions admit that Jesus is the messiah. You also took the part of childish things out of context as well. Childish things are what the world is full of. God's love, truth and wisdom is what makes a man mature. You sound angry and disappointed by God.

A few years ago I heard this song for the first time. It touched me so much at that time and many tears fell while I listened to it. Fast forward a few years to the present day. . .again I find this song in a moment of complete weakness and struggle in my life. This song reminds me that even in the darkest days, in the hardest struggles and the pure suffocation of life. . .God knows what He's doing and where He is directing us. I need to remember to just let go and let His will take hold of me.

Everytime my heart drops a couple of meters below, I MUST listen to this song. How awesome the comfort of the lyrics bring...There is so much chaos in my life right now. I've been pleading God for help, yet I will always ask "WHY do I have to go through this? WHY am I in so much pain?" But this song...is telling me I'm not alone. This community of supportive loving Christians is proof of how much Jesus meant for all of us brothers and sisters unite as one in Christ, no matter who we are.

This song has played such a huge role in my life recently! it has caused me to stop and pray and ask God what he wants me to do with my life and through all of the chaos he has showed me that music is what he wants me to pursue so I'm going for it! he is showing me what i want isn't always his plan as I found out today when i worked my butt off for a lead in a play and it was given to someone else who got it for what seems like the wrong reasons but im trustin God through it all.

God is putting me through so many trials right now, I feel like I'm being shattered over and over again. I used to do self damage, I used to cry and cry and cry at how upside down my world was. It hurts so much. I cant possibly handle it.

Hey thank you everyone for your support and love. It's wonderful experiencing the brother/sisterhood in the Christian family. Still having trouble finding a church that suits me but I will be checking out another one this coming Sunday. But on a personal note I have been reading and studying the Word and I have started a discipleship program with a minister friend of mine. So it has been a little bumpy trying to understand it all but when that light bulb does pop on it is totally worth it. :-)

I was saved a week ago and I'm learning more and more about God. Well I threw out my metal cds and now I'm looking into Christian music and I came across this song and I love it. It's a strange feeling to feel this way, but I can feel Him in me. So much love and guilt. A desire to live for Jesus. I had no idea it was like this. Opening my heart and asking Jesus to come in and forgive me is the best thing I have ever done. I feel Him.

@Jenicide79 oh wow, i am exactly the same way. 2yrs ago i got into a relationship and he showed me the path to Jesus Christ. though we recently ended, i found so much comfort, care, and love in our Lord and Savior. It is strange. I have never been religious, but oh my, this feeling is sooooo wonderful! letting Jesus into my heart and life is so much but i am ready. its nice to see another like me. :)

@senese Thanks. It has gotten stronger. And I must say that no matter how long I live I will always be marveled by the fact that He listens to a simple life like me. I am learning to hear Him. It always moves me to tears when He comes like that. All I can do is thank Him for His love and guidance. With His guidance and His grace I am happy to report that my Grandmother is now interested in the Word and wants to know the Lord better. Praise Him! I didn't want to go to Heaven without Grandma. :-)

@supapycs No supapycs. I never said anything bad about metal. I just said that I threw out all of MY metal cds. I threw them out because they were blasphemous not because they were metal. There are actually metal Christian bands out there. Some of them are pretty good too. :-) So no I am not chastising metal. Not at all. It was a personal decision made because of the content not the style.

Countless times I've failed to let God change me and do great things through me when I knew He was trying to, but I've learned I can't do anything about my past mistakes. It brings me so much joy in my own faith seeing how God has been changing you, because I love seeing how you wanted to change your life for Him!

If you truly forgive someone you don't go on punishing them for the things that they have done, and the way I see it if we being imperfect people know how to forgive then I can't even begin to comprehend the depths of His mercy and forgiveness. So yes I now realize how much I am loved and that I am forgiven because I saw the truth and I asked for it.

I also don't see why you suddenly persued christian music just because you became christian. Seems like you lack a strong will and just follow the what you think the group follows. @Alvaris Perhaps you misunderstood the point of what I said. The music that I got rid of was blasphemous. That is why I threw it out, and as for other music, I listen lots of other stuff. I was just checking out some worship music because it was suggested to me. So no I didn't just change to Christian music because I think that is all Christians listen to. I listen to other stuff myself. I just won't listen to anything demonic or blasphemous. But regardless I appreciate your advice and concern.

I forgot where it was, but i'm pretty sure you can get the same effect through subwoofers. I used to be a metalhead, then i wound up getting headaches... I changed to more soft things, and about that time, He called me closer. It led me here, among other places. God accepts any and all forms of worship.

@Jenicide79 also, I don't think Christ has a problem with us listening to most songs, as long as they're not actually promoting evil, even if they aren't explicitly Christian. I still listen to Iron Maiden, Metallica, Sick Puppies, Trapt, etc. but I avoid most Judas Priest and Godsmack songs. Also, some bands might play a few songs you should avoid, but still play plenty of harmless songs.

@Japansepuppy2481 Well not to pry or anything, but that seems a little weird. I've read a lot of the old testament prophecies and such, and they seem to be pointing to some messiah. From what I've read, Jesus has fulfilled a lot of these things. How could it NOT be Jesus?

@Japansepuppy2481 That seems rather contradictory. I thought God was the answer. But if God is simply a belief made by man, then how can people be saved by an idea? I think in order for this to work out, there has to be a true answer.

@Vdeogamer No one knows if God is real or not. Not truly. It cant be proved. Everyone says something different about God. There are bibles that say he doesn't even exist (different religions). You have to find your own way.

This is such a true song. We can't keep holding on to the sin on our lives. We need to give everything to God, and when we do we may not undersatdn everything that is happening, but the Lord will pull us through. We much have faith in him, trust that he knows whats best for us, and then obey his call for us no matter what it is!!

@saturdaynight320 It's kind of the fact the Holy Spirit allows us to communicate directly to God, Jesus is our middle-man who was required for salvation. We pray to God and discuss with God if you think about it. The idea of three in one is rather confusing even to me, I've been saved for like three years now. But it's God we pray to for forgiveness through Christ's sacrifice. If we get a response it's through the Holy Spirit. :/
