Thanks for your commentary. I have an update of the same poem on my blog. Seeems I had gotten some of the geography wrong. Sometimes the ocean is the best way to separate, great distance often puts an end to things. I guess romance requires some depree of proximity.
@Hellishcrusade Hello, do not quite know hat you mean here, but the poem is after Roman lyric from the 1st century AD, back when the Ribble Vallley was under a Latin speaking, foregin domination.
