Hello tom, if you give brookbank canoes a ring at carlisle they'll probably be the cheapest ( i saved over £200 on my xp10 compared to other sellers) they do full packages including boat, paddles, pump and life jackets tel:01228 531 703
try the boat out on a lake before attempting the tyne, apparently 'talkin tarn' (near Brampton) allows kayaks but if you want a really nice lake try derwentwater at Keswick (you just pay to park at kettlewell car park no launch fee) see you on the water ;-)
yea a will be getting a sevylor tahiti plus 4 me and my son jst 2 start out on then see were a go from there our first run will be from haydon bridge to hexham so looking forward to it
my inflatable holds 2 adults and a child and is fun if theres a few of you, you also dont need a roofrack to carry it about, but you do need to dry it out after use to prevent mildew spots and foisty smell's.
My liquidlogic xp10 cuts through the water a lot easier than an inflatable but is over double the price and aswell as a roofrack you also need somewhere to store it!.
I prefer the rigid ones, hope this is of some help lol ;-)
Hello, beautiful pictures! I have to wait here in Germany, the ice age, our lakes and rivers are frozen over in part. I added myself the „Kodak Playsport“ and can unfortunately only after the ice test. That's longing.
