He wouldn't even manage to fall off the nightstand. That's how fast I am when I'm asleep, unfortunately. I never wake up. Sometimes I simply don't hear it, or my brain interprets the sound as part of the dream. I'm also a regular answering machine, capable of handling phonecalls and saying just about anything necessary for the caller to hang up so I can get back to sleep. Talk about wishing to have insomnia.
