Josh, I asked a while back what set you apart. In the time I asked I think I've finally found a respectable answer. You are different, Josh. You don't blog on your videos and you don't harp on anything. What you do is you talk and make jokes about the game. You've played a straight game and maintained your independance, and if I may, purity, by not watching many other let's players. When you talk you have this mesmerizing voice and a sort of noble humbleness that make you a very likeable person.
Despite my sorrow at hearing your uploads will yet again go on hiatus, its GREAT to hear you will be searching harder for a job, bikdip!! getting a job, personally, was the best thing ever. Even working minimum wage, the money was amazing! its great being able to buy what you want when you want it. vlogs would be great

Like many people have stated, you should look into being a partner. It's a way to have a side income or possibly a profession in making videos (see SSoHPKC). I don't think people would mind the 30 seconds of ads from the video, since it's going to a person we like. Whatever you may do, thank you for providing me and others with hours of entertainment, hell I go back watch Fire Red Omega and other stuff. Good luck to in your future endeavors and we will be here if ever return to "normal."

I think the comments show very well that your audience understands. I really like your LP's, I started watching when you were doing kaizo mario 64, so I still have some older stuff to plough through. I'm sure no one can complain because of no content because your trying to better your life. I personally think that you should consider making this your career. If you enjoy it, then that's what you should do. Start with monetization (if you haven't already) and start reaching out to TheGameStation or Machinina. Of course, its your decision, and my saying this has nothing to do with you delaying new content.

Some of us have seen you go very far in your endeavors in the past couple years, Josh. I, and what I assume to be the other around 12,999 subscribers of yours, have enjoyed pretty much everything you've put out. To see that you really enjoyed what you were doing helped it a bunch ton. So if you want to work on your personal life for a while and get situated with someone you care deeply about, then I'm pretty sure we can all wait for a while. We just wanna hear back from you every now and again.
I think that a majority of your subscribers understand that your life should be of your highest priority, not Lp's. Everyone goes through times when they have to get their lifes sorted out and focus on themselves and their loved ones. You have our support in this, Josh. Getting a job is important, for many reasons. Lastly, I just want to say that you will always be one of my favourite Lp'ers, and I wish you and Brynna the best of luck in life. If it weren't for your videos, I would probably have never heard of ThatGuyWithTheGlasses, which is now my favourite website and has been a great influence in making me the person I am today.You've put lots and lots of effort and time into your videos and I don't think a single subscriber will blame you for taking a hiatus.
Really, the job should be your first priority... I mean, I don't know what's wrong with your more... "slow" subscribers, thinking that your only purpose is life is LPs. I'm pretty positive all 10,000 something of your subscribers aren't subscribed to just you. Also, referencing pressedlee123 who said you should accept money for your videos, go with it. I know you're like, morally against it, but you COULD use it as a temporary source of money until you get a job. So... at least consider it.

There was Super Mario 64 CCC run. I really enjoyed it. Was a lot of fun! Then you played good ol' Gex 64. It was a nice LP, couldn't ask for more! In Mario Sunshine we met our friend Steve. He's in our memory and will never leave! In Yoshi's Story you got every melon while commentating and story-tellin'! I'd mention your 23% run of Metroid Prime, but sadly I can't think of a word to rhyme! You've given so many Let's Plays to us. My favorite LPer is surely BikdipOnABus!
As someone else said, I honestly think you may need to start swallowing your humility and become a partner. People obviously enjoy and watch your content, and I think dealing with a few assholes complaining is not much of a price to pay to actually have some cash on hand. Hell, I'm willing to send you money for a new computer, not just because I myself want content, but as you clearly said, you want to put out stuff too.

plz don't stop i love you're LPs there fun because its you commentating. You seem to feel like you are doing a bad job of things but as you can see by these comments you are great at what you do. Don't get discouraged by life, life sucks. Just continue being the awesome person you are and do what you think is best. I'm pretty sure all of us would be happy watching some dumb commercials, as to help you and you're family. Thnx for all the great vids bikdip, appreciate them.

I'm with everyone else man, if money's an issue you should absolutely apply for partner, even as a means of supplementary income it will help get you by in the interim until you find a job, and once you do will be a bonus revenue stream. I've been enjoying your videos for over 3 and half years now, and will gladly watch a few ads if it helps you out. Whatever you decide to do, thanks for all the entertainment you've provided me with, and happy holidays to you and yours.

I personally think that you should consider making this your career. If you enjoy it, then that's what you should do. Start with monetization (if you haven't already) and start reaching out to TheGameStation or Machinina. Of course, its your decision, and my saying this has nothing to do with you delaying new content.

Some of us have seen you go very far in your endeavors in the past couple years, Josh. I, and what I assume to be the other around 12,999 subscribers of yours, have enjoyed pretty much everything you've put out. To see that you really enjoyed what you were doing helped it a bunch ton. So if you want to work on your personal life for a while and get situated with someone you care deeply about, then I'm pretty sure we can all wait for a while. We just wanna hear back from you every now and again.

I think that a majority of your subscribers understand that your life should be of your highest priority, not Lp's. Everyone goes through times when they have to get their lifes sorted out and focus on themselves and their loved ones. You have our support in this, Josh. Getting a job is important, for many reasons. Lastly, I just want to say that you will always be one of my favourite Lp'ers, and I wish you and Brynna the best of luck in life. Really, the job should be your first priority... I mean, I don't know what's wrong with your more... "slow" subscribers, thinking that your only purpose is life is LPs. I'm pretty positive all 10,000 something of your subscribers aren't subscribed to just you. Also, referencing pressedlee123 who said you should accept money for your videos, go with it. I know you're like, morally against it, but you COULD use it as a temporary source of money until you get a job. So... at least consider it.

Josh, you don't need to apologize for trying to get yourself in gear. If you aim to get out and get a job and your own house and all that jazz, then yeah, you should focus on that and not commentating on video games.
I recommend not starting anything else until you know you can do that while keeping everything in check. Maybe finish 74 in whatever spare time you have, maybe not. Until then, I dunno, we can all do our own shit in the meantime.

I was going through some hard times back then, and your stories always livened my day up for whatever reason. I guess they were humorous and fun to listen to. As someone else said, I honestly think you may need to start swallowing your humility and become a partner. People obviously enjoy and watch your content, and I think dealing with a few assholes complaining is not much of a price to pay to actually have some cash on hand. Hell, I'm willing to send you money for a new computer, not just because I myself want content, but as you clearly said, you want to put out stuff too.

I know you have said that you don't think you deserve being paid for making videos, but at this point, why not? You certainly have the subscriber number of a respectable partner. Plus, that would allow you to keep yourself and your fanbase happy while still providing an income to your family.
