It's not suppose to mean anything , the show is probably edited a million times and if it's not , it's a simple look that everyone gives to everyone because they said something funny / stupid / scary / ect.

That scene isn't "Robin" and "Barney" its Colbie and Neil. They are great friends off of set and the Entire cast tries to make the others laugh during a scene.

I think you are right. If you watch all those "bloopers" videos going around, you will see that they pull that stuff all the time on the set. Maybe the director left this in because it is so subtle. (even after reading that I should look at the look between them two, I still missed it the first time)

I think you see visions. All the time, if you look closely, Barney giv strange looks after a good joke, like totally out of character (they only last seconds, but he ALWAYS gives them) and Robins has started to make them also, in each season Robin gets cooler and more clever.

If you watch the show stoned you will understand exactly what I mean.
