I hope some day Mr Saleen decide to tune a mustang as a real sport car rather than a straight liner. Take Mine's as a real tuner, I cant believe he has the advantage of a muscle V8 and still has less power than turbocharged 6 bangers.

I work for a local car magazine. I road tested CTS-V, 427R, Ford GT and C06. Whenever u drive any of them, u know its an american vehicle. Tons of power and torque, big braking power, but handling simply sucks. Ive also drove the Audi S5, Nissan GT-R, M3, Carrera and GT-3. All of the european and japanese competitors have serious handling, most of them will lose against american muscle cars in straight line race, but at the track.. not a chance. Imports also beat domestics on engine response.

You know the top handling car is an American car right? Viper ACR. CTS-V handled better than BMW as well as straight line performance. Ford GT has very good handling and could beat the GT-R. New 5.0 Mustang GT ran dead even with an M3 at a TRACK (with turns)

Thats what US magazines, TV, radio and websites want u to believe, American nature, tell everyone they r the best, the most powerful, the most beautiful, but If u ever get a chance to drive a gtr and a ford gt or cts-v u'll know what Im talking about. Never had a chance to drive an acr tho and heard alot of good things about it from real pro race drivers.

I dont have to drive them at a track. No one does. Its the great thing about numbers. They dont lie. And yes they tested the Mustang 5.0 GT and it posted the exact same lap time as the M3. You dont have to believe me it wasnt my test. No crack..real numbers. Look it up

@alexjr90 numbers dont mean shit when you are in real life... my friend had a v8 fox body and his dad to put him in his place when he race him with a 4cyl mustang and he beat them.... half the size of the engine and a lot less power and he still beat him numbers dont mean shit in real life cause your forgeting the human element

@migueford i'm pretty sure if you charged a 4.6 mustang, no litle ricer would touch it. a roush supercharger with eldebrook headers and exhaust, unstoppable. and if you wanted a car that would handle as well as any little integra, throw a mustang II front-end in. integras have a 1.8L engine, whereas my bottle of mountain dew has 2.0L. makes you feel big, huh. haha

@migueford ya, and i've seen geo's waste s2000's. doesn't matter what car it is, it's how it's tuned and what the PWR rating is. I respect all vehicles, but c'mon. a 1.8L integra tuned equally against a 4.6 or 5.4 or 6.0 or even 6.2L? so supercharged with a larger cam in a 1.8 is still slower than the same thing in a 4.6 mustang.
