shang tsung has his mortal kombat movie fatality from when he killed kang's brother at the beginning lol. i actually think supes has one of the coolest brutalities so far. i'm hoping batman has some good ones since he's my fav dc character.

Out of all the fatalities and brutalities i've seen so far, i'm only impressed with one or 2 of them. Superman's brutality would actually kill that guy. With wonder woman, it would have been better if the guy was smashed further into the ground. Shang Tsungs fatality was wack in about 3 different ways. He usually raises the guy in the air and the guy looked dead when Tsung slammed him to the ground but yelled when he stomps him in the back. Would have been better if his head went pale.

supermans brutality wouldnt kill people. if you remember MK3, you used to knock people from the subway up threw the ground and into the streets and it never killed anyone unless it was the last hit of the fight. the real problem is that it was sheevas fatality in 3.

i agree so much!!! and yeah with womnder woman when i watched i i was like omg sub zeros heads going into the ground how cool!!! but when she came down he was just lying there and its like umm on not really what i fort but ok.....really not liking the finshers this year round!

supermans brutality is sheeva's fatality from mk3. and i noticed batman has some kicks that scorpion used to have in deadly alliance and deception. they're not just recycling fatalities they're recycling regular punches and kick combo's as well. thats lazy and disrespectfull to the gamers they think they're fooling.

Thats exactly right it is lazy. this isnt mk trilogy anymore and if you think about it they did the same thing with that game but it was just more popular back then and nobody cared; I think they think since mk has a good reputation that they can do anything they want and it doesnt matter if its dumb or not because its morta kombat; BUT THEY'RE WRONG! They could at least give everyone their own moveset and new finishers.

i think you're right when you say they think, its MK, its popular, they can do whatever they want.i watched an interview once, and they consider the 2nd movie, and mk4 to be a huge success. i think since everyone in MK uses weapons now, it would have been a better idea to make a versus game with soul calibur, and let the people who make soul calibur work on it. could you immagine how crazy that would look seeing scorpion fighting mitsurugi?

it has nothing to do with the DC characters being humiliated... the simple fact that they dont have fatalities is simply because when kids see Superman and Batman on a cover, they're going to want to get it period... whether or not it has MK in the title.... but i do agree since they have the free fall feature they should be more constructve... like Green Lantern's and Superman's are pretty cool, but The Flash and Wonder Woman's really kinda suck... then again kids played MK regardless of rating

Shang's FATALITY is kindof 'okay but the others do suck imho aswell...it seems we'll have to wait some time for an old-school MK comeback, untill then you can either buy this one for the lore, or just skip it and play some real MK like trilogy :) I wish they made a selection on the opening screen where you can choose to play with blood and gore or without it..dont have a better idea.

I think everyones just hungry for unnecessary blood they don't really think about it. MK fatalities are not only known for the blood but also the style in which their done, I think everything looks pretty good so far I mean do you really think you'd want to humiliate Superman by ripping his ass out his anus, and everyone takes things too seriously this games gonna kick ass regardless so you lot get a life.

are you serious? did you really just ask that question swiv2d? do we really want to see superman in a REAL bloody fatality? Of course we wanna see that. and how's a bloody fatality gonna humiliate DC characters? if thats the case then dc should go to another game, ANY game but MK. Oh and there are TONS of non bloody fatalities that they could have that look WAY better than these tasteless ones here; like superman could scorch someone with his heat vision, not rip off sheeva's old fatality.

I agree with the fatality thing about not being original still don't think it's a good idea to make it too bloody. This is gold, truth is you cannot find another fighting game to do stuff like this with even Streetfighter & Marvel would work with Mortal Kombat if the MK team did it their way & still believe they'd do a good job. Any other fighting game you can't make it as serious and as cool as this so just saying be happy for what it is cause it could be alot worse. DC vs Tekken or Soul Cal.

I think that reducing the fatality gore of the game weakens the game because mk is known for blood, gore, and violence.

true. The idea of crossin' over 2 another franchise 2 make a fighting game is not bad, however, if crossing over with another franchise means losin' d essence of ur game, might as well look somewhere else. DC is not d only comic book/video game franchise out there.

Im assuming the reduction in rating for this game is that it will apply more to younger audiences instead of just mature ones.

Well, I really don't think this story mode will affect future games. Chances are it'll just be ignored as future games go on. This was done just for the fans who wanted something new, who wanted to have their favorite superheros vs. their favorite Kombatants. Still, I'd have prefered an original game with a highly safisticated Kreate A Fighter, but that's just me.

I think its fair to say that all of us could have done a better job with the fatalities than ed boon's team did. And dont give me that crap about they arent good because its t-rated; I could think of better fatalities for 5 year olds, all the fatalities are starting to suck. really, shang tsungs could have been alot better but i guess it was one of the good ones.
