@hoag350z to be honest, you can't put 15 days in 1 movie...yeah it was a bit speeded up like shirou's healing pretty quickly even after he lost saber. And they missed a lot of the funny scenes, but it wasn't that bad. i really enjoyed watching it. The epic scenes like gilgamesh ripping out ilyas heart, shirou vs archer or lancers last thrust were really well made...and i had to laugh at shinji how he crawled away after lancer threw his lance after him XD

@Phuc123Halo I agree with you except for the part of ilyia, in the novel that was a heart breaking scene of how berserker and ilya were conected (and the fact that berserker revives himself out of sheer willpower just for ilya, so she can die happy) in the movie was more like just to prove the fact that gil is a jerk, forgeting all the emotions of the scene.

Yeah... making ilya look like a jerk is kinda of fail considering how things go in Heaven's Feel, Sakura's path made me happy that I saved Ilya in Fate (well, I'm pretty sure now that I didn't have much of a choise, but it still feels good to know I did it :P

Well, Heaven's Feel is my favourite route so I am happy they kept it in (I have a thing for the world destroying psycho-lunatics... good thing for the world there are not any of them in real-life).

And yeah, it would be nice to have plenty of routes, but maybe it would be too long/big of a game, and make people give-up before finishing it, I mean, it took me almost a month to get all endings/dojos

@wisefelipe There were lunatics in Heaven's Feel? Just looked like Sakura was starting to develop a personality..although she reverts back to being boring. Personally i didn't like HV that much... ironically the best parts of that route were dead/bad ends. Let's not forget that most of the servants die only to prove how strog the shadow is...how lame was that. And of course that Sakura is the most bland and boring character of the game.

Archer isn't Shirou. Archer is a possible Emiya Shirou. He may be the Shirou in from the future of the Fate route but definitively not from the UBW/HF routes.

By the way, it's interesting: does hall of guardians exist as a new copy in every possible timeline, or is it one for all alternative realities, and spirits are some merge of different versions? It's said that Hall of guardians exist out of time, but time paradoxes are still imminent, Archer is one of them; more than, it's said thet SOME memory from summonings leak to the spirit, and number of summonings is finite - because of small changes, spirits wear out and are destroyed.

Really great video..! It's a nice summary of some of the outstanding events of UBW... from archer's summoning, Archer vs shirou, Shirou vs gilgamesh. It's really beautiful.... Thumbs up.

It does the Visual Novel justice. At least the fights in UBW route are the best out there. But personally I prefer the HF route plot. Only in this route Shirou really becomes a man, and go for it to save the woman he loves (in HF Sakura is the one).

I really like his fight against Dark Berserker and Saber Alter, though.

AngelValkry: i'm wondering if you understood the video... first of all those lines aren't from normal Archer's chanting but from Shirou... the translation isn't wrong at all, it's just his second chant. Because in the end Shirou understands himself/archer and he thinks the future self is wrong. If you want to know all about the whole story then you should read Fate/Stay Night's visual novel.

Well actually I did read the visual novel and just finished Heaven's Feel a couple of days ago. I just rechecked and you were right. But, the funny thing is how I never noticed he actually said that. I still wonder how Rin came to know Shirou in the very beginning of it all....none of the story arcs even explain it at all, same goes for Sakura...I found it hard to believe she could even grow attached to anyone else after what happened to her, yet both seem to have a sense of affection towards Shirou...

She used to watch Sakura at archery (or somewhere els), she noticed that Sakura could only smile in front of Shirou and thats why she knew about Shirou and also why she saved him when Lancer wounded Shirou.

Watching him trying to jump over it, did change Sakura from "I want to die" to "I want to live".

Since that day Sakura saw Shirou as someone who will save her from her suffering.

And that way her love for Shirou grew :P

As I recall they explained that as part of Rin's outlook on life.

When someone asks her out, she asks them to sit on the outside of the fence on the roof of their school with her for a day, something to do with falling in love under stressful situations.

I can't see them mentioning that unless it had something to do with the story, so that's why.

As for Rin, she's embarrassed about Shirou, initial, but she finds his boyish, noble nature, well, charming. The way he tries to stand up after everything. One thing leads to another, and bam, there you go, RinxShirou.

This is all very evident in the Visual Novel. The anime is mediocre.

Yeah, the anime is just a mix of all 3 paths. Rin apparently also sees Shirou after school trying to jump, doesn't she? I did feel like UBW was the shortest route though...It was more bout Archer-Shirou than the RinxShirou.

That's more or less everyone's complaint about UBW. Even Nasu himself admits that UBW has a huge focus on Archer and Shirou.

And yes, she was witness to Shirou attempting to jump after school. It was one of the things attracted Rin to Shirou in the first place. You find this out in Heaven's Feel if I recall correctly.

Tsukihime is great. I can't say for sure if it's as good as FSN, I'm a little biased, and prefer FSN slightly more; the story-telling is by far better, however. It may be a bit outdated, but Tsukihime is still a solid VN, one of the best.

There is a book calld Fate/Zero its a prequel of Fate/Stay Night Visual Novel.

UBW stands for Unlimited Blade Works, Its Archer's Reality Marble but it can also mean the second storyline.

The first is Fate, second UBW and third Heavens Feel.

Fate/Hallow Ataraxia is a sequel to Fate/Stay Night and its also a Visual Novel.
