You know what - I agree with you. I'm reconsidering. I just reread Angie's book and compared it with David's Mick Rock book. He totally does not give Angela credit for anything and that simply is wrong. She was his wife for several years and her accounts are far more accurate than his.  I believe she first had him go the dress route and play up the effeminate affect.

Long story, David and Angela were married. They had an open realationship (meant they didn't have to be faithful). David started doing cocaine. Angie and David started sleeping with other people and not caring. They were offically over in christmas of 1977 David and Zowie moved out. They weren't offically divorced until Feb. 8, 1980. David got full custody of Zowie.
