I work in a grocery warehouse and I can tell you that they are ramping up the hiring, but the thing is, we are shipping less freight. Everyone is hurting on hours and rumors going around say that the idea is to make everyone part time so they can take our benefits away.

Hey Demcad.......I am waiting on gas prices to hit 5.00 a gallon; it may not even take 5 dollars a gallon before people start letting those 300-600 dollar a month car payments go becaus they can't afford to put gas in it and insure it. lol Car bubble is coming !! I have no doubt ! They (gooberment) made sure with the cash for clunkers program; not many good used cars around. $5.00's a gallon and if I had a car payment I would surely give it back to the bank. CAR BUBBLE COMING !

I'm guessing they're doing everything they can to hide the depression, including fudging BLS and inflation stats to dress up the "recovery" and make it look as convincing as they can, because they're about to unleash hell in the mid east. When that happens, oil will skyrocket which will send the economy into a real tailspin. That way, they have a scapegoat, and Obama can still tout his initial economic recovery in 2012.
