i remember this...me pla and dana were waiting at the airport for you to show up having just ate at blimpies. took you a few hours but you did show up...its a good thing you werent in the plane that crashed on the runway!
Flying canopy open, it slammed shut on impact, airframe twisted at that sametime, so the canopy was a challenge to pop open. The chilly waters of the river made catching breath another challenge- I almost drowned. My friend later died of cancer (cancer). I keep a picture of the plane & "Mac" by my work station. It reminds me that everyday is a blessing- the problems we face are small when we consider that death is just around the corner. So enjoy the moment!
