  • Dont have enough words to say thnx

  • Truly.. those days were so pure and stress-free. Wanna go back to those days... Today's life just looks bigger but its all bitter compared to olden days.

  • @depboy77

very true . those days were much better than today's net, mobile controlled life. you can send 100 text messages daily to your loved ones but not sure if same feelings are reaching to them in this virtual world.

sunday morning.. rangoli, mogli, malgudi days,, surbhi,, humlog, that theme songs MILE SUR, AND BAJE SARGAM. . really missing

  • life was way better without cable-tv...

  • Grew up in the 80s in Dehra-Doon. Childhood then!Only a single channel to watch,no cable,no PSP.Barely half -hour of kid shows.Plenty of time for fresh air, games, friends and studies.Loved those days.

  • I met myself today after very log time........Remembering those golden days, when i used to wake up in morning to see Rangoli with family , with tea and breakfast. after that Ramayan, Mahabharat ...........what a beautiful period that was...........thanks for upload

  • ha ha ha .. i would never go for any such job that is against the basic ethics of humanity. i appreciate your view points my frend but beg to disagree. the riots you are talking about were and always are politicaly instigated which we common people have to pay the price for, media however has a very strong role to play in the way the national charachter is to be structured and for material gains they forget their responsibility as one of the strongest pillars of a democratic set up is a shame.

  • God cant believe we have seen all this , sunday morning Rangoli , wed CHITRAHAR,

amazing simple stuff still looks like alive

  • 80s were simply sooperb none of today's generation know the happiness of those days, i really miss it...............

  • that Cadbury dance was indeed awesome, the girl is b'ful and the guy is HOT

  • THOSE WERE THE GOLDEN TIMES. PEOPLE STILL KNEW WHAT HUMANITY MEANS. By watching this video it seems that some one has given me some nectar of divinity after a long time, Compare this with the media of today where we do have more than 200 chanels but the content is all the same every where : sex, nude girls dancing to achieve their utmost important goal (TRP). I wish I had a time machine.

  • @joydeep3264 - U think we knew abt humanity... during same time period we had anti sikh riots in different parts of country mainly delhi then another political issue of ayodhya and again riots... so no question of humanity then and now... also with time everything changes... today due to competition we see different antics for TRP's and at the end of day ...TRP's is related to somebody's job... if you were associated with some chanel you will save your job and not worry abt the content

  • thanx 4 this guys...

i remember the days when we had to readjust the antenna to watch tv...

those days u could actually watch tv sitting wid ur family...nowadays v get nothing bt vulgarity in the form of blessed reality shows...hundreds of channels bt not a single on can give wat DD had back then.

  • Very nostalgic. Thank you,

    Regards,

    S.Suresh,

    Trichy.

  • thanks for uoloading....I might be around 7 to 8 yrs old.....thank you my friends

  • Wish I was born after 2000 !!

  • i rememeber those days when i used to climb the roof and redirect the antina to see DD1 on weekends for sat movie. i live in 'lahore' . we have cable network now with 10 indian channels but alas we cant see any of these with family. tv and indian cinema was so much sober in 80s. Lahore

  • really....it was wonderful period with great time and hardly two channels to relax and enjoy with family...missing nostalgia....

  • my favourite ad is the one on cadbury @7:26

  • Thank you! never hoped to see them again.

  • unforgetable memories of our nation and we proud salute our nation

  • it was a nice time watching DD1 and PTV Atogether in pakistan. i miss my old days and old and gold channels i wish the time could come back again. very simple and precious time of life. i wish we had a reverse button in life.. :(

  • that era was so simple yet so effective.........hajmola sir

  • that era was so simple yet so effective.........

  • 70's to 90's was the Golden period of India. Things were quite relaxed and easy back then and we had only 2 channels but were very happy and content with it. Chitrahaar was a nice 30 minutes musical program. The great epics Ramayan and Mahabharat use to make all the roads empty and people would be glued to their television sets. We had Malgudi Days (classic), Spiderman, Heman, Didi's Comedy Show (my favorite) and many many other GOOD AND NICE PROGRAMES on those ONLY TWO CHANNEL'S.

  • @prem73 I totally agree with you.

  • Thats a really superb video which takes us back in the glorious and golden past of those great DD commercials viz: rasna, bajaj, India's literacy mission, liril, etc

  • The grass is always greener on the other side, isnt it?? The entire country left those days in the past for a very specific reason..we all know what it was. These ads are excellent material for the sake of nostalgia, but thats about it.

    ENJOY THEM!!!

  • @onandonandon1234 Dear fellow Indian,

U r absolutely right....But, wat to do???We find that after 2k's life s chasing after money......Life was peaceful and ppl wr in harmony those days

  • Nice ...the nostalgia is back..life was simple...

  • Wow thanks for bringing the nostalgia back!

  • @ramac74 - Really yarrr Life was so simple.. when we were young!!!

  • in last ad of fevicol, there is Raj Kumar Hirani the director

  • we all agreed on one thing that olden days were better, dude looking back those were the best days...waiting for rangoli , glued to tv during hum log, without knowing whats on,still watching turning point, vikram beetal, mohgli, and above all crazy for mahabharat :) i'll surely say it was the golden phase of indian tv.......NOT like this days saas bahu saga, reality fucking shows.

  • Fuck man ! You bring back lots of memories ! Thanks for upload !

  • These are a clear representation of the times we lived in. Pure Indian coolness, no forced desires to be western. Quintessentially cool, Quintessentially Indian!

  • @humanradical Exactly...U r rit dear fellow Indian...Indian's wr Indian's...we did embrace other culture at the same time took pride of our culture....nowadays we hav fully turn into a pro American country....

  • I just forgot all my tensions and relished those nostalgic moments of the good old Doordarshan days....thanks for uploading...

  • I never used to mute or change the channels in between serials those days. Loved to watch commercials.

  • Simple things used to bring so much happiness those days.... Indians were Indians those days !!

  • @maknam you said it bro!

  • golden olden days

  • i cant even imagine how the lyril ad used to excite us in those young days..... imagine where the world has now reached...

also some have made big after those

    hajmola - Ill aarun

    Vicco - sangeeta bijlani

    Fevicol: rajkumar hirani

  • hey wat abt the bajaj bulbs ad?

JAB MAIN CHOTA BACCHA THA BADI SHARARAT KARTA THA...

    MERI CHORI PAKDI JAATI ...

    JAB ROSHANI HO TO BAJAJ...

    i luved that ad man

  • Thanks for uploading this..... this is fantastic. Took me back to the good old days. Really DD has done a great job with all its shows and ads and everything. The channels of today definitely don't compare!!

  • @v4vfx

    These ads made me cry......

  • It was a time of simple and peaceful life minus the ratrace that we experience now.

  • Yes, life was so simple then. None of the mad dash for over achievement like it is today.

  • @ramac74 ur absolutely right!!!! the rush towards money and position take away all of our happiness. i wish i was still in india.

  • @mihircp22 : you can do what u want buddy...to come abroad was your decision...to go back to India is also in your own hands...and please don't say that u can't...coz i am have seen many ppl go back...n i m going to go as soon as i complete my education...its all what u want..money of life...

i have been here just a couple of minths...but i have understood 1 thing..life is much better in India...not comfortable...but satisfactory and easy and lovely...with peace of mind and soul...

  • @MultiJuljul ,ur absolutely right.. of course i can go to india any time, but at the same time i do not want to regret in future that i had an opportunity in US which could've made me big. jst becuz i am a naturalized US citizen, it blackmails me from leaving US. its always easy saying, that the decision is in our hands do this do that. but some how everyone's tied up in their own situations. even though if they knew whats good and whats bad for them.

  • @mihircp22 : no..it is wrong..how much big do u want to become..i am a doctor..doing residency here...there r a hell lot of opportunities here for me...but i ve decided to go back coz i know that i can earn enough to give me a good life in India...and that s enough for me..i say its more luxury in India coz everythn s cheap and affordable and available..u need not do all ut household stuff by urself n above all relations are true there...

  • @mihircp22 : many of ppl i know here have same dilema as u ve but u know what...when u cross age of 40 or 50...ann sit back and think what u did in life; all u will find is wrk...nthn else...in india...it s fun, relations, love ,friends, community...its like a diff worls where every1 cares for every1...without a reason..children dont leave their parents in old age homes to suffer and i want to live in such a socitey...all luxuries here can b found in india..and better..l love India

  • @MultiJuljul well said my friend , well said. that's definitely worth a thought, and its considerably the best encouragement

  • that guy at the end of the video in favicol ad is RAJU HIRANI[director of munna bhai series and upcoming 3 idiots] i guess, can anyone confirm it
