The space in between thought is absolutely AWESOME. I recommend it beyond all other things in this world. What is better than being able to feel blissful, happy, satisfied, and "enjoying" it at all times? Exactly.
Hi Scott,beautifully expressed :-}I`ve had the experience recently on a couple of occasions,of "stepping out",of the stream/dream of thought,of the "story" and along with it,the realisation,that this moment,is the same moment as 20 years ago.With this realisation,I did'nt know if I was 38 yrs old(my current age) or 18 years old.I also did'nt know what year it was.The concept of "time" had melted in the space of the "timeless now".
Wow... I had to respond to your comment because you expressed very accurately the same experience I had "when" I was 18 or 19. Wasn't it such a trip to see that Time itself, something that nearly all humans invest all their unquestioning faith in, is literally and entirely an ILLUSION!!?? =)
I imagine it to be a conveyor belt of mental chatter, often another thought is added which is the so called "Thinker", the "I" which tries to resolve the previous problem, but really it has no more power than that problem. Thought perpetuates in that manner!
