yes they do.

Youtube will encode the SD first then in about 10 to 20 minutes they will encode a HD copy. It just takes their servers longer to encode HD.

Yeah! If you use Vegas Pro 8 , it will be very poor quallity... i have tried.. it with this cam. saving it in windows movie maker will be the best result.
