  • @shardsoffork

    One word.....

    Aikido

  • @revron77 Sorry homie, krav's specialty is this kind of stuff. Wouldn't recommend trying this with aikido to be perfectly honest with you

  • @revron77 Actually I just watched it again, there's some krav-esque stuff in there on the disarms, but the attacks after the disarm is where the problem is. Sure these work on a cooperative subject in a dojo atmosphere, but what if a cracked out maniac comes up to you with a gun? This shit ain't gonna fly my friend. Not trying to put down aikido, its a great martial art. But krav is specially designed for self-defense. There's a reason bodyguards and cops learn krav instead of aikido

  • @shardsoffork

I'm a 1st Kyu. Two men tried to mug me once. They didn't have guns or knifes. But because my Aikido master always practiced real life situations around Aikido. I managed to walk away without anyone touching me and a few guys on the ground.

All the Aikido techniques I have used in real life situations have worked.

And 70% of my class comes from the security sector.

I feel Aikido, personally. Is a very effective art.

  • He could already have shot him at 0:38.

Even though I'm an aikido practicer, I'd never try to disarm someone with a gun. It's way too risky.

  • @FearThisChannel

Unless I'm suicidal or having a really bad day, yea, rather give away my 50$ to some random attacker then beat his sorry ass when he turns his back..

  • @marshall9doom That's not what I meant. I meant that I would never risk to be shot in a fight. Maybe he takes your wallet, but do you like dying more than that?

  • @FearThisChannel Guns are easy to fight against in close range, but knives are scary.

  • @DuykRuyk Sure guns are lol! If you run at me with your fancy ass ninja tricks I'll shoot you in your face without pardon, and then it doesn't matter anymore who was the martial artist. So NO dude. Guns are never easy to fight against. If you would try to disarm someone who had a gun, and you were too slow or didn't do it well enough so that the gun was still pointing at you, then you'd be pretty fucked. Don't you think he'd try to shoot you? Fuck yeah he'd try to blast your face.

  • @FearThisChannel You didn't listen to what I said. I said they are easy in close range. Anything beyond your arm length is impossible and you might as well just give them your wallet.

  • @DuykRuyk IEven within the range of your arm length it would be nearly impossible to safely disarm the dude and take control over him. Any bloke who knows aikido will get fucked up with this. It's much easier to catch a punch than to disarm someone with a gun. If you grab his arm he'll shoot you in the balls before you even had the chance to make the gun point away from you. Conclusion: it's simply impossible, or almost impossible, to get yourself safely away from a dude pointing a gun at you.

  • @FearThisChannel 1, Aikido is useless. 2, don't grab the arm, grab the gun.

  • @DuykRuyk aikido is useless? ,aikdio can litrally kill..... do some more research

  • @14jstorm It can kill against a drunken ape maybe, but not against anybody who knows how to fight. Aikido is only useful against people who run at you wildly.

  • @DuykRuyk if you had enough expireance and training you can down another martial artist.

  • Great havah negilah in the background!

  • Normally, I respect this guy's videos - he's got a lot of good stuff and it's real Aikido. But this one was just horrible - what is with the overacting? Feet flailing about like a nut? Come on man, you make better videos than this. Uke was a bit much here.

  • lol the pornmusic ^^

  • MI SRBI SWE ZNAMO <3333

  • it's a Bear !! of corse he will won everytime ..even without aikido !

  • When did the circus add aikido acts?

  • @jungyew Idk but it fits doesn't it?

  • these techniques will only work very close up, if he is more than a foot away forget it he will have pulled that trigger be time you have got to him and you will be dead you are not faster than a bullet

  • @maverick00754 i do agree with your statement but the up close with a gun thing is most of the time threat or to steal some ones things and they do that self defense when they know they still have a chance

  • WTF!!! the song is amazing!! sounds like "Samurai Jews"!!! xD.

    Great demonstration thanks PAL!

  • i love aikido im from el salvador but i live at usa

  • heh martial arts may help but who knows there could be a sniper 300 yards away aiming at your head >.>

but srsly this is so kewl :D

  • martial art only give you more chance to survive.... which mean you can die as easily as normal people who do not practice martial art so when someone is pointing you with a gun you better try to do what he want before trying any shit you learn on your martial art course

  • that eagle logo is said ot be NAZI symbol

    what doy ou think?

  • @TheRogueMonk, It's not an eagle.. it's a phoenix!!! the mythical bird that goes through the fire and comes out stronger & on fire.

  • @TheRogueMonk

I guessing it is more of a Masonic symbol of duality. Two heads=duality

THe Eagle was perhaps first used by the Roman and then the Americans and yes Hilter in WW2.THe Eagle seems to be a symbol of miltary might and far reaching power.

We have to remember Hilter was going for a NeoRomanistic Empire

Interesting countries all over the world used the same five pointed star or use the cross symbol

THings to make you go HMMMMM?

  • @NewZealfighter What are you talking about???? Two head eagle was the Vyzantin Empire symbol. You know Konstantinoupoli (Instabul) these days was the center of christianism. All the orthodox tradition is full of this symbol. Its not a masonic symbol.

    Sorry for my bad english

  • @vardalos1980

Cool I learned something However we may both be right After all the masonic traditions has been around long before christianity

But anyway ,please explain how the double headed eagle is a christian symbol.First of all it is a bird of pray (a killer/hunter) not a peaceful dove and it has two heads.

I am going to take a guess.Rome had to capitals, one being Konstantinoupoli and the other being Rome but that is a guess and I admit that.

  • Ich mache seit 10 Monaten jiu-jitsu eins ist mir klar wenn ich etwas will muss ich mich gedulden und lernen .ich lerne vieles z.b fallen lassen rollen abwehr atmung konzentratsion .uvm.

  • it's knife not gun disarm...

  • Dude......It IS a gun disarm.... guns and knifes can be deflected through these techniques.

  • failure is to try nd not complete task failure is to not try at all failure should never be a thought you have a choice you can sit AROUND AND DO NOTHING OR YOU CAN AT LEAST TRY

  • yes it works on the principle of balance technique placement and knowlege of the bodies joints heres a tip kiddo if you study the human body you can defeat anyone fast slow big or small be free and simple a fight shouldnt be a fight at all when i fight its like i see a video of what i am to do befor so when i do enguadge its like doing it in slow motion

  • Are you promoting European Art??

    Nice Video.

    MikeVivadaCC

  • My dad once showed me a small urban park dedicated posthumously to Sgt John MacAulay. When a suspect pulled a 9mm auto on MacAulay, the sgt got him into an armlock & was applying a rear choke to subdue him when the suspect used his free hand to draw a .38 revolver from his waistband & shot him in the head. Gun disarms do work, but just because you've gotten a gun away from an attacker doesn't mean the lethal threat is over.

  • I don't care what any of these "experts" can do; you have to be stupid to thnk martial arts will protect you if the guy has a gun. He might even shoot you by accident.

  • I think these moves are important, but I'm all for carrying guns, knives, etc. I always have my knife on me, but ya know sometimes it's a sturggle to get to, you never know. It's good to have at least a basic understanding of selfdefense techniques like this.

  • @MondoBeno well if the guy thats going to kill you with a gun was smart and didnt get like 3 feet at you, then your fucked, but if they were, you got a chance, its actully easy to take a gun away close to you then a knife, knife is fucking hard

  • no throws and all, no arguement there.. but this sort of thing for `self defense` is not practical wheather the attacker is a professional or not he most likely has hes finger on the trigger (mostly as a means of intimidation) all those throws cause a reaction in the flexor tendon to grip that trigger. We have tested it in training and you most beaware of your surroundings and where that thing is pointing. Why not disarm then throw? When I teach LEO`s I give a lecture on this logic the same.

  • MUY BONITA LA COREOGRAFIA

  • many of the techiques only work if you have a good partner who knows what to do and how to fall

  • very good partner to aikido

  • its ok but many ,,martial artist,, died this way , dont try this on the streets if u r not 100 percent sure u can pool this of, the graveyards are full with wannabee bruce lees and seagals.

  • Graveyards also full of people who did nothing and died anyway, what would you choose??

  • i have to disarm ppl very often gav nugent , my statement was if u dunno exactly what the hell u r doing its better to do nothing then to play steven seagal, believe me i saw a lot of shit happen this way.

  • True statement, you cant go doing this without shitloads of practice!!

  • when are you going to get that close to sombody threataning you with a gun, this is terrible.

  • You may not believe this, but there are plenty of "bad guys" out there holding a gun that WOULD INDEED stick a gun in your back, exactly like that. They haven't a clue.

These are the imbiciles that you want to try to rob you....... not those who stand back ten feet.

These idiots with guns that get this close to you are the easiest to deal with.

  • i agree with you on this subject

  • Thanks, I appreciate the comment.

  • ok, it's a demo - what this means is that it is essentially an advert to promote the positive training methods for one particular school.

Having said that, like most demos - there was a bit of compliance (the throw at around 00:23 for example).... as long as we take it in context, it's all good

  • Do you really believe that the "throw at 0:23" required compliance?

  • not total and utter compliance, but I'm not 100% convinced it's done without the 'attacker' going with the flow either.... but like I said, it IS a demo designed to promote a school's training methods compared to another school... in that context it's still a good demo, if nothing else the breakfalls are very smooth.

  • Got to agree about the falls. Just one thing though, when some of these "touches" are applied, it often looks like the "recipient" is jumping off his feet on purpose because if he doesn't lift off quickly enough, things that he doesn't want to break..... break.

  • Oh I get that, don't worry!... I take Jujitsu myself, so I understand a principal of 'going with the flow' to prevent injury... but, like I said as it is a demo... much of it has to be drilled well beforehand so everyone knows what they're doing and when... which means there has to be some choreography involved, or chances are, things would break as you say... still a good demo though, but it's still a demo... and we shouldn't forget that.

  • Yep, I can agree with that ok, and you're right, is is indeed a demo.

  • yes try it on one of our friends i was a time going in jiu jitsu or how it called there i learned a few of these tricks but its hard to handle it never use it...

  • it's serbian, belgrade is the capital of serbia

  • Muy bien no se debe esperar tanto para reaccionar. Bien.

  • he use the gun like a knife XD

  • dumb

  • if someone really want to shoot you, they will not stand that close for these reasons, the gun can easly get taken and the person with the gun can get fucked up in the process.

  • Actually sometimes a mugger may hold a gun that close to you 11xr1east. so for that purpose the disarming technique is important to know.

  • your right there are some dumb asses that will get that close. These are very good techniques to learn. which takes alot of practice

  • and if there was a mugger, he would stand 6 feet away from you so everyone can see them. They would do exactly that, point it in your back or something

  • Would have been a better demonstration using knives,

  • Real music))))))

  • im sure if he maybe just stood a few feet away with the gun........

  • you do not have to know what your opponent is going to do, there are so many technique so that you can always take him out...

but i study the traditional aikido from Morihei Ueshiba

  • i study porn

  • Man, Aikido is the art of getting FAT, and knowing what your opponent is going to do.

What if the guy pulls the gun more than 10 feet away?

    LOL

  • what if...

  • You die.

  • Then there is no security. Don't worry, 90 % of people who carry guns can't hit you from 10 feet away. Oh, and 75% of all statistics are made up on the spot. In all seriousness though, that's when you do whatever you can to get close to them. I might try to talk to them, talking distracts a person from what they are doing because they have to concentrate on what they are saying. Works well if they've grabbed you from behind and have a gun pointed at your head. Talk, and then disarm.

  • did anyone ask sarkoff

  • interesting stats....by the way, when i shoot you in the chest, you know, that 10% of the time that i can manage it..your going to be 100% DEAD... stats like that are for geeks with pointy heads who have never been on the pointy side of a gun. or been shot. You wanna distract them, give them the fuckin wallet and shut the hell up

  • Actually you'll only be 100% dead 48.4% of the time if you get shot in the chest, 96.7% if you get shot in the head. Good luck trying to shoot me though. Giving them your wallet first is always a good idea though. Most of the time that works. I'd guess about 85.3 % of the time. How many times have you been shot anyway?

  • No, "actually" that not correct. though statisticly that may be the assest average, that does not equate to any actual facts. What are you a degenerate poker player who lives his life by the odds? (or just a dumb ass Kid w a big mouth) And since you ask, i've been shot once, which is more then likly 100% more times then you. Which, i can tell you, sucks about 1000% more then really want to imagine.

  • Actually I'm just someone who's being a prick to someone who was being a prick to me. Thanks for caring enough to play along. Do you know how many times I have been shot and shot at? Do you know how many guns I've taken away from people pointing them at me and others? No? I thought not. And yes, I did make the statistics up on the spot just to tick you off. Thanks for making my time on here worth while.

  • HA HA..Ok ok, as Genral Patton said, "I'll drink to that, one son of a bitch to another"

  • Thanks. :) Anything else shall we fight about? How about the best way to disarm a knife?

  • well, i spoze you shoot him in the chest, take the knife (and his wallet) then tell him he's dead.

  • I say shoot him in the throat, he can't survive that.

  • Thats cuz your being all stingy and shit w the bullets...tap him 3 or 4 times... the chest will do..that whole neck thing is so Messy

  • Yeah, but I can buy me an ice cream cone with the money those bullets cost. Summer's coming on and where I live an ice cream cone taste mighty good during the summer. 'sides, who's to say the gun won't jam? I'm not very good at cleaning them.

  • SON OF A BITCH! your right, ice cream is good.........ok, fuck the mess. we gotta save that Cash for better things

  • jew aikido

  • he moves well !

    however......

    WTF with the music !!!

  • Yeah, lose the music. It's just a distraction.

  • O.o Music

  • bar mitzvah music...

  • the music sucks, aikido technique it was cool

  • aikdo looks pretty awesome, but i gotta say, regardless of what martial art you know, disarming a gun is dangerous, make one slip up and it could cost you your life!!!

i'd say trying to disarm a gun wielding maniac with martial arts is a bad idea

  • I think that a master can do that (in the correct moment of course) but for everyone else is almost suicide

  • even the masters its risky, the master would have to be absolutely flawlessly perfect to assure he isn't killed!

    even masters can slip up

  • i thought he could catch the bullet ;)

  • Gotta do the moves quickly before he pulls the trigger.

  • that's right

with gun's or knife's you must do everythinh as fast as possible or you'll could die

  • hey,if someone wanted to shoot you,he would do it the first second he got a chance...

but if he wants something from you, then you can preform a technique on him if you know aikido well!

  • im from germany and im training aikido too.

i can tell u-aikido is the best thing that was ever invented!

aikido is not basict on power, but on technic.

so,even if ur enemy is big like a bear,u can beat him!

and thats what i like about aikido

  • I agree with you ! ! !

  • @vesevio i ones realized that its is like wrestling you never know who is what in truth.

but unlike this kind of pro wrestling aikido is very similar..we got uke which is "heel" and nage which is face

however in aikido neither are bad

while in the world they have faces and heels in aikido we only have family and we are not trying to judge the ones that attack and also not trying to use force when we fend against

difference is one is focused on good of man the other on the strongest survival

  • Why is Hava Nagila being played in the background? O_o

  • OMG the guy showing how to protect himself in REAL AIKIDO STREET FIGHT is getting pwned.

  • I think the older man in the Blue Gi is his Sensei. ;)

  • kako ga slomio

  • in reality, wouldnt he just stand back and shoot him

  • all depends, you never know the suituations, thats why its always best to stay calm and focused. normally robbers will be pretty close to you when trying to steal your money and so forth, thats what this is showing, how to protect from that.

  • Haha, the music! It was fun to watch, some of his breakfalls looked painful though! Yeesh! Very good, fast-paced demonstration!

  • fucking aweful music - ruins ability to watch

  • Excuse me, sir. You spelled "awesome" wrong.

  • lol

  • XD!

  • To Jagodicu:)veliki pozdrav,

    Danijel iz Banja Luke.

  • jagodic legenda :)

  • wow a police aikidogi? :p

  • n i c e clip.

  • very nice skills

but you must learn some skill to know how to use knife from me because if i attack some one i don`t attack hime like that

    very gooooood video

  • ***

  • funny vid

  • Excellent video!

  • wow~! very nice!

  • cool.

  • Very nice but a bit to well rehearsed I think,

  • very nice, but he doesn't even look to see which arm the attacker is using to threaten him in the back with the knife... a bit too scripted..

  • Knife? There is no any knife... And do not worry, he saw all..

  • he doesn't even look? all you saw was the back of his head, how do you know where he was looking?

  • yea... it's a demonstration. It was scripted. Nothing wrong with that. Unless you have a problem with kata demonstration too? The only part I thought was a little "off" is how much Uke kicked his feet each time. Also, that was a gun, not a knife.

  • when u're dealing with experienced gunman or man who knows how to use knife - u better try ditching than fighting.still,it's good to know of such techniques

  • you better not try anything stupid on someone whos art is the programing of exploiting joint and balance weakness on an attacker XD

  • cool

  • very nice sensei, i will be aikido master one day later

  • looks realy great although i think they should have slowed it down a little. thx for posting !

  • pretty cool. Although I dont know about ultimate self defense. I know ninjistu and krav maga also have gun defenses. Not saying aikido is not cool or anything cause I like it too.

  • Wow what can I say that was totally awesome.

  • Very nice
