Absolutely love your video!!! :) How did you decide on the height? I am a female who is 5' 1"...any suggestions? Thanks for showing your creativity with making the wonderful PVC equipment and video....Can't wait to make it!!! :)
Awesome, I was looking at the Lebert Equalizers and wondering if I should buy it but I figured I would google up some DIY versions to see how easy they would be to make. I'm totally going to screenshot this and taking it to home depot to get the materials. I was skeptical that it could be stable enough but seeing how you said you're a 170 lb man, it definitely can hold a 105 lb girl. ^_^ Thanks, I've been doing dip on two chair backs, which had been pretty uncomfortable. Off to make this!
I did not glue the joint just above feet so I could twist the legs and the bars will lie flat so I can hang them on a wall. I'll post short video with specs if this does not make sense. Good luck

pvc can hold heavy weights w/o breaking?
torobaby1 11 months ago
@torobaby1 I am 170 lbs and have done dips on these bars with 90 pounds of added weight so I know they hold up to 260 pounds. No idea beyond that.

rbtexel 2 years ago
No problem. Its made from 1 1/2 " PVC.
Cross bars are 23"
Top verticle tube is 16"
Bottom verticle tube is 7"
bottom horizontal tubes (feet) are 8"
I did not glue the joint just above feet so I could twist the legs and the bars will lie flat so I can hang them on a wall. I'll post short video with specs if this does not make sense. Good luck
