i have the exact same laptop its amazing but after afew months or years the fan inside will make a buzzing noise its normal but if u dont like the noise u can get it replaced i love this laptop i just installed windows vista and it delaeted my wierless network and my finger scanner so back up your files before u swich to a new windows like vista or 7

@geoisonfire dude it is cos lenovo took over ibms thinkpad division and the model you have is a premium for businesses who didnt want the ibm logo next to the fingerprint scanner (a couple of years or months after they finnaly stopped)

Maybe I dont like them, but the reason is, that they are only good lokin, nothing more. They are slow and you will have to be veeeeeery good in computers to put windows XP there.

I didnt say, that Dells and Macs are bad. I said that they can be pro computers too.

By the way, does your Thinkpad have a camera? Im looking for a thinkpad, 15,4 widescreen with nice configuration and with Web Camera. Do 15,4 thinkpads have a camera?

The thinkpad in my video does not have a webcam, and the screen size is 15.4 inch. Since I got mine like 6 month ago, I am not sure if they come with webcam these days.

well then, since I only test the thinkpad for like 2 or 3 days before I gave it to my friend, I can't guarantee anything. But I dun have any problem during these days.A macbook pro and a Thinkpad, well, macbook pro obviously is more expensive, so I guess it would be reasonable if its better then thinkpad.

Maybe, maybe not. Maybe its just an expensive brand. The design is good, but I dont know about the config. The thinkpads are now cheap, because they are called Lenovo. When they were under IBM they were way more expensive than macbooks/ powerbooks in those days.

I should better test them both

Im glad to be happy owner of the T61p... Ive heard the new models from Lenovo suck, Im glad I cant say that about mine
