The Redguard left, Black Marsh left and took over part of Morrowind, The High Elves, Wood Elves, and Khajiit are all part of the Aldmeri Dominion so that only left Skyrim and High Rock as part of the Empire. Plus they banned the worship of Talos, The one who made the Empire last as long as it did. (sort of). So ya the Empire is as good as dead. On a side note Hammerfell won against the Dominion.

@satiodelf Yeah thats all true, but the Khajiit are more slaves now then they ever were, and why they dont see that I dont know. The Empire is good as dead, if you help the stormcloaks, Skyrim is the Empires last and only chance... if the Empire loses Skyrim, the Aldmeri can, and will take Cyrodiil. That is not good for anyone. No one will win against the Aldmeri unless they unite.. Hammerfell wont win an all out war, they couldnt hope to.

@101Jared That is true about Hammerfell, but the Empire knew that banning the Talos worship would make the Nords mad. Plus they only signed the treaty to save their own hides, they knew that it would fracture the Empire when they signed it Plus though if they continued to fight they might have won the war as was evident in Hammerfell.On the other hand the only reason that Tiber Septim won the war with them in the first place was because of the Numidium which was a gift. (Dark Elves)

There are tons of threats that are as of yet, unseen. but lets deal with the Aldmeri first, I agree on some of your points, but I disagree about the Empire, I believe it is Tamirels only hope of surival into the future years. They need an organized leadership, they need to be united. The Aldmeri are already extremely powerful and only growing more powerful...

@satiodelf Yes a Stormcloak victory would be bad for the Aldmeri, cause it stabilizes the province and they want chaos, so its easier to conquer... But I think an Imperial victory would be way more damaging, cause it proves that the Empire is still strong and able to keep up the fight. Allowing the other nations (Hammerfell) to if not re-join than ally with the Empire in hopes of destroying the Aldmeri once and for all.
