I thought it was interesting for a norse video to have a woman narrator, usually they're buy these guys with booming voices to enchance the brutality.

And a warrior could go where ever they felt after death, they did not need a valkery to gain them access, only to hasten they're ascent into valhala.

Though the whole story of Valhala was created long after Odins death and ascent. Its kind of like heaven and hell for christians, they were created to scare people to follow certain beleifs, only beleived by small minded and controlling individuals.

some did, many people used some sort of ornament for helmets

romans had hair and other things to their helmets, u probably no what they look like, and some knights im medieval times had either painted helms, or made of diffrent metals,

Yes, ornaments such as depictions of a bear, boar, wolf, raven, one of the gods, whatever... but never horns, they would have actually made the helmet weaker. Only a ceremonial helmet would have had horns, and they would have been removable - horns were for drinking!

Actually some berserker did have horns on they're helmet. Not the steriotypic bull horns or somthing like that, but steel ones they would use to charge the enemy if they dropped there weapon.

Also it wasn't uncommon for a go'thor or chieftan to wear animal skulls or horns in an attempt to gain favor with the animal spirits of the region.

And I've heard of chieftains/go'thors (I'm guessing go'thor is another area's term for what I call a gothi) wearing skulls, possibly skulls of horned animals. But I've never heard of steel horns added to helmets as weapons. What's your source for this information?

I have no specific source, I've just read innumerable books and articles about the history of the Viking Age and the culture of the Vikings themselves. I have some facts about them floating around in my head, needless to say.

Anyway, the fact that there are horned helmets on display in a museum comes as a great surprise to me. You sure those weren't just horns that would be used for drinking? Not weapons?

Yes it was on a display distinctly for a beserk clan, I dont think you have the right image of what shape the horn was however, it was on the forhead with much more of like the end of a pick shape as opposed to the steriotypical bull horn.

Also I appaulagize, when i stated that source commment i had in mind another individual from another norse themed video who's been running around spewing facts while challenging others but never indulging his own question "wheres your source"

Ohh, okay nevermind. I've seen helmets with a single spike on them before (or at least, I've seen pictures). I just don't think any helmets with actual horns, like bull horns or whatever, were used in battle... If such helmets existed, they were a ceremonial possession or the horns were drinking horns.

A no budget student film used to learn and practice techniques. Given the group chemistry it took effort to make this turn out as it did. Even if it was laughingly discounted, lessons were learned, which is the most important part...
