To this very day, i still thank my mother for pointing this game out to me on the shelf in blockbuster. After 1 hour of gameplay i was hooked. This is my favourite game of all time, i just completely love the game. I've fallen in love with it.

@blargityish The graphics of SH1 weren't really that good to begin with, and there wasn't ever really a very good visual of her in the very brief cutscenes she appears in. Also, notice Yuri, Alice, Ben, and Margarette don't even exactly look like they did in SH1.

i love shadow hearts and sad music so this song is great i find it sad that some one dies at end of each game though/shadow hearts-and covenant/ didnt play the others so im not sure with those either way alice and yuri are my favorite anime couple not really sure if its anime but u get the idea that there my favorite couple

Yeah three wasn't so great. They shouldn't have killed yuri and instead made a sequel with him and Karen. He really needed to get over Alice that was just pissing me off.

You want Yuri to get over the woman who saved his life, saved his soul, saved his sanity, helped him to discover the truth behind his mother's murder and how his father died, the woman who showed him what it was to be human again, to love again, the woman who sold her soul and DIED for him...

So he could go with Karin, who is his mother, and screw her? (Right, because who doesn't love incest? Fun for all the family, am I right?)

@Araceil13J oh wow you just made me understand something! lol wow I feel dumb I didn't get that Karin was his mother, I really didn't understand the end of the game at all but now I finally get it. I posted that a looong time ago and after playing the first game again I actually changed my view, I'd rather him be with alice, I like that ending better. I think when I posted this I was just mad that alice was dead and he couldnt get over her. But I never knew or understood that Karin was his mom

@Darknanaki72 I'm fully aware of those inconsistencies. SH1 is the only SH I've played, apart from Koudelka. Since I couldn't get my hands on SH2 I read the online guides, I checked the official websites, I got as much information on it as possible because England for some reason completely missed on Shadow Hearts.

@Darknanaki72 Karin is Yuri's mother. Play SH2 again, remember the picture that was given to Karin by Yuri's aunt? It's a picture of Yuri's father and mother and him when he was little boy. Uncoincidently, Yuri's mother in the picture is identical to Karin, and by the end of SH2, where does Karin find herself? Unconscious in Japan, but who finds her? Yuri's father. It's not inconceivable that after learning she'll eventually be Yuri's mother she changed her identity.

@Apillis124 I'm pretty sure her name got changed to Anne after you get off of that warship thing and on the release papers Karin's name has been changed to Anne or something i can't remember so she probably just decided to use that identity like you said.
