I wasn't abused by my father but growing up, I never believed my father loved me. So it was very hard for me to realize that my heavenly Father loved me. It took a lot of growing to discover the Truth!
BTW when my father died, at his funeral someone told me that he loved me so much and never stopped talking about me! Praise God!!
