I've always wondered why fags like lupismike who don't have bikes watch bike vids. Any 05+gsxr1000 will wax a busa... any year busa... Rider for rider, bike to bike, gsxr comes out on top.. WHY? @ironmb86 yep its official lupismike is an idiot. k8/k9 busa 260 kgs and 197 hp. gsxr-1000 k8/k9 185/190 hp with only 205 kgs. gsxr-1000 117nm of torgue and busa 155. gsxr-1000 is for racing and busa is for roadtrips to grandma's house.

@ironmb86 that is spot on.. but you forgot a BIG FACTOR.. AERODYNAMIC.. that is why the busa will kill you after 170mph in real speed... but the k5 will walk the busa in every way.. but if you are a big guy like 90% of my friends (i am 218lbs with my gear on so then it`s VERY DIFFICULT to hide under the wind screen...and if you have wide shoulders that is the worst..and the HUGE TORQUE is helping the busa withe the top end acceleration..but 130lbs driver on both bikes the k5 would walked it EASY

This is also a street race, at a prepped track with a good rider that busa would eat that gixxer.

Stock vs. stock I would put my money on a gixxer in a street race, at the track it would depend how hard the guy can launch the busa.

For a non stock motor on spray the busa surely wasn't very impressive here.

I have 2 buddies of mine with busas, 1 has the 08 orange n black the other has the 08 charcoal greay and I smoke both there asses on my 08 gix 1k. My friend with the orange busa regrets getting it so bad. Wish he could get the 1k again. Stock to stock the Gsxr has real usable power. The busa needs way to much pavement to catch up. By the time it does the race is over! Unless the busa changes the gearing. Thats it.

The Busa isn't what it used to be when it first came out in '99. Ever since the '04 GSXR1000 came out and now the '08, the Busa is not worth it. A 1000 is almost as fast and basically comes down to the rider(in a straight line). New Canadian record 7.92 1/4 on a gsxr1000 just last month!DAMN
