we did a simular side crunch in the service to, i think i did it wrong cuz i never did get a burn from it. Now I'll have to try it since i am so far outta shape it cant hurt.
This is a completely pointless exercise, it puts no strain on the area you are trying to work. If you want a good ab workout simply buy a cheap sit-up bench and get sweating.
