  • Most snug way to tie down is by compressing the suspension...put straps on & snug out the slack, then lean the bike to one side a few inches & snug slack created, lean to the other side & snug again...go back & forth a few times & you can easily draw the suspension down & the straps will be so tight the only movement will be the entire trailer...bike should be standing straight up when ur done. Careful releasing straps, just go back & forth leaning to each side to create slack & release evenly.

  • I bought one of these chocks from Harbor Freight about five years ago. It works great. Never had a problem with it.

  • the kid is right, why are you being a dumbass

  • the chock is basically to keep the wheel from sliding out from under the bike, not to hold the whole bike up. it's doing its job just fine.

  • normal you fucking idiot, you want to bend you rims? Learn something about bikes before you post stupid shit.

  • handlebars strapping on any bike is what we call an AFRICAN ENGINERING NIGHTMARE,never do it on any bike use frame with protection or tubes take your time and look and think but forget ALFRED EINSTEIN'Sidea of handlebars Dowman Road Harley

  • Uneven restraint will result in tie-down failure. You got one strap thats about 2 feet long and another one thats about 9 feet! Recipe for disaster. Tie your bike down in the middle of the trailer. You also need to be using the straps to pull the bike towards the chock (aft restraint).Good luck.

  • you should really be putting those straps up on the handle bars.. they arent even above the center of gravity and thats a huge problem if you plan on towing it around

  • Debating on chocks for a full size cruiser.. looking into these... for whatever reason.. the price makes me a notch nervous

  • Thanks for the video. I wanted to see the $39.00 harbor freight chock in action. Notice I wrote chock not CHOKE. The others were correct in that you are not strapping it correctly. Happy Trails.

  • Tie bikes down via the handlebars.

    Solves the probelm completely.

  • I would put two pieces of rug in between the front wheel and the choke. That would help prevent side to side movement. These aren't made to keep the bike up by it's self with no tie downs.

    Nice bike by the way.

  • stupid fuckin kid!!

  • this guy should of had the camera mounted to the trailer so we ould all see it fall while he was driving, nice wheel chocks tho for the cheap price, most equipment they sell is cheaper to buy then it would be to even make yourself..bike shops want over 100 bucks for a chock as quality as this very one.

  • i have those same CAT gloves... cost me 4 bucks at menards!!!

  • learn to tie down a bike you dumb ass. by the way......obamas a cotton picker.

  • Most motorcycle wheel chocks do exactly the same thing. They are meant primarily to limit FORWARD motion. That's why you also use tie-downs. Nothing wrong with those wheel chocks at all.

  • whats the problem...

  • Strapping from the rearsets does not work. Compress the front suspension with tie downs from the triple clamp or using a canyon dancer and it wont move.

  • well it's harbor freight......I am looking about getting one of their HVLP guns to learn on, will see how it goes.....I SO thought that BUSA was gonna drop!
