these are inefficient designs based on typical 4 strike petrol engines, you should aim for low rpm/high torque model which is surely much different from this for maximum efficiency

im a bit confused on how it works, does air go in through one tube, compresses the cylinder, causing the axle to rotate, then exits out the other tube causing it to rotate and start all over again?

if it was done on solidworks couldent you get the plan look of it all if your doing it on computer please can you do it in MM
These designs are so simple that they can even be made out of Lego. Feel free to search the phrase "LEGO VACUUM POWERED ENGINE" Although it is vacuum powered it also works as a compressed air motor. I even have two designs on my channel if you are intrested. Just wanted to help.

Air feeds in through the top 2 hoses, and the motor is started with a flick of the flywheel.
