  • what is the max overclock for this one?

  • i blinked at 0:36 rofl

  • Works nicely but destuction in Crysis is weak. It should be modded to something like in Red Faction: Guerrilla

  • lol...

    10-25fps~!

    ouch

  • that's crysis for ya...

  • Nice. I'm just about to order the same CPU and graphics card. Nice to know it'll run smoothly.

  • @St4rdog umm it's a like 2 year old game, how can you be that surprised it'll run on your hardware ?

I mean...tzz... it's supposed to work! Or do you guys don't even think about the money you spent before you spend it ? Do you get yourself a new computer and then collect informations about the hardware and what it can run etc. ?

    that's quite... interesting I guess!

  • Read me comment again. It says "I'm just about to order" suggesting I haven't ordered anything and was collecting information.

    Numbnuts.

  • actually this game in my oppinion came before its time .... there is not 1 computer on earth that will run crysis on 2560x1600 with full AA at 60fps ... its rather the game is shitley optimized or it is a very hard game to run ... so anyone should be suprized if there pc can run crysis at decent detail

  • a SINGLE 5970 can run crysis with 16aa and 16af on enthusiasts on 2560x1600 with over 60 fps so there you go jus told you something you didnt know

  • lol what FPS do you have 40 50 ??

  • I bought computer with same cpu today . its awesome

  • 0:35 ouch!!

  • Hi i am going to get a new computer and i cant afford a quad core, i want overclock a E5200 to about 3ghz maybe 3.2ghz is this safe and it it easy to do??

    Asus P5KPL

    Cooler Master CM-690 Dominator

    OCZ 600W StealthXStream PSU

    Sony DRU-860S 22x DVDRW

    250GB Maxtor/Seagate SATA2

    OCZ 4GB 1066MHz PC2-8500 Gold

    Pentium Dual Core E5200,

    Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 PRO

    Window XP home

  • the E5200 is an EXCELLENT overclocker and you could even get to 3.8-4.0GHZ with that system.

  • is it safe??? I dont wanna mess up the cpu as i cant afford a new one and i dont wanna upgrade my cpu for atleast 9 months+

  • it's safe if you know how to do it. and sometimes even if you don't..

like i said the E5200 is especially and easy overclocker, just make sure to read a lot about the subjet and you're done.

  • come on this cpu is cheap now $225.00

  • i got my e8400 for 130$ at tigerdirect, but it may have just been on sale at the time.

  • Ive got the 9850 its amazing

  • I have the Q9450 too with the Noctua NH-U 12F CPU-cooler and it runs perfect @ 4x 3,40GHz

Max. I get it to 4x 3,70GHz but thats the limit with aircooling.

  • im sorry but it just doesn't work like that

  • After firing that rocket at 0:35, your head would have come clean off due to shrapnel. Check it out.

    (plop)

  • so its normal that with my e6300 and a 4870 i still get min of 21 frames?

  • what res and settings?

  • lol Yea that would make a difference. 800x600 @ lowest. No that's bad. If you are playing very high 16AA and 1900x1200 you are doing damn good.

  • Q9450 or q9550? Extra money worth it or should i go with the q9450?

  • overclock the q9450 ;)

if you have a good cooler

  • IN YA FACE!!! (0:36)

  • huh? i thought u could only carry 1 missile launcher & 3 missiles each for 1 he mus be usin a cheat

  • it's not me playing, it's a program for benchmarking Crysis

  • o ok hehe

  • that cpu costs 2000$ in my country :D. what GHz are u runing?

  • 3.2

  • hey i was thinkin im gettin Q9450,

and how do i Overclock? (I DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT PC) ^^

  • You can find some information about it on the net, it's not a prcise science, every computer is different

  • what kind of cooling setup do u have for ure 9450 and how hot do u think or know it runs

  • i'm using Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 PRO

and the temps can get to 75-80 in full load using S&M

  • 80f or celcius?? cuz if it is celcius thats kinda dangerous

  • celcius... it can get pretty hot in full load but don't forget i'm with an OC

  • i hope you know those temperatures are very dangerous for that cpu, and the oc just makes matters worse, a Q6600 has a thermal design for 71.6 degrees celcius so with ur cpu being 45nm that will be even lower. your killing your chip.

  • and without fraps, what kind of fps can u get ?

  • about 27 AVG, the weird thing is that i got LESS fps when using 64 bit mode.

and in the bench the first loop was a little laggy and the other 2 it runs very well..

  • nice dude.

ime getting the same cpu soon would you recomend it ?

what if you dont mind me asking is your system specs due to how this vid runs ?

  • my specs are:

    Intel Core 2 QUAD Q9450 2.66 @ 3.2GHZ

    GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L

    Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 PRO

    GEIL 4GB(4x1) DDR2 800MHZ

    GIGABYTE RADEON HD4850 512MB

    WD 250GB 16MB SATA2

and i think you should go with this CPU only if you're not planning an Overclock

  • yes thanks

no to be fair ime not planning to overclock.

how does it run crysis on very high on 2.66ghz ?

  • it runs great. don't worry, it's one of the best CPU's for none-overclockers

  • cheers dude getting it end of this month so ile just have to cope with a oentium 4 playing crysis till then lol

  • Your running a Quad core 3.2ghz with DDR2 800mhz ram? your bottlenecking your system right there. You should be running some DDR3 1333 or 1600. Your CPU should be running 1600mhz FSB. I highly recommend you upgrade your ram to see the full potential of your hardware.

  • DDR3 is too expensive for me, the only way i'll get a DDR3 is in a CORE I7 system.

  • Well your limiting your whole systems performance with that. The majority of people think that a fast ghz rating is all they need... sadly that is not the case. DDR3 is not that expensive... you could pick up some DDR3 1600 and be fine. I myself have a 3.33ghz E8600 with a 1333mhz FSB. my mainboard is 1333mhz-1600mhz, my ram is DDR3 1600. As you can see I left wiggle room to upgrade my CPU to a 1600mhz 12mb cache at a later date. No need for me to run a quadcore right now.

  • ignorance at it's finest. No triple channel benchmarks nor ddr3 have even showed significant differences. DDR2 800 is more than fine. DDR3 is overpriced.

  • absolutely true

  • Im getting a quad core q6600, an ati radeon HD 4870X2, 4gb of ram of 1333 mhz, now my question is if i am going to have problems running the ati radeon in the intel processor???Pliz answer me........

  • no won´t get any problems with an intel board.

  • VERY NICE FRAMES
