I got my tragus pierced in August 2011 and I have to say that I think its an amazing piercing. A few people I know got it done and said it hurt others say it didnt hurt at all. All I have to say is that I got my last (of 4) helix piercings at the same time and I thought the helix piercing was much more painful. 6months on the piercing has healed really well and moves easily when i twist it or move it, I cant wait to change it but I have to wait 6months to change it.

I really wanted to get this done, but I'm worried about the pain. Two of my friends got it, but one said it hurt really bad and the other said it didn't. So really, there's no way of knowing if it'll hurt for me or whoever else is wondering, because everyone's pain tolerance is different. Which sucks haha cuz you'll never know unless you go get it done XP

I got my tragus done about 8 months ago, and honestly, it hardly hurt. It was only a little pinch and that was it. It hurt a little when the jewelry went in but nothing bad at all. My cartilage actually hurt a lot compared to this! My tragus is my absolute favorite piercing and im going to get my other tragus done soon. Legal age to go without a guardian is usually 18. Depends on where you are from though i think. I highly recommend this piercing!

I just got mine done like, 4 days ago and it hurt a lot less than when I got my upper cart. done. And the guy was just like, "it's gonna hurt." and stuck the needle in. I was just like.. Oh.. That wasn't bad!!

I got my tragus done with a gun, it doesnt hurt as much as needle and it wont bleed. My tragus never had an infection before and it's healin nicely too.

I just got mine done. They actually said they wouldn't pierce with a hoop... only a stud. I LOVE IT.... and it didn't hurt much at all.. just discomfort while doing it which I expected... Try to relax and it should be fine. Cute video!! :) The mom is just like mine would've been

I got mines done yesterday and I absolutely LOVE it , there was NO "POP" or "CRACK" sound. I must say that it was ALOT of pressure , there was more pressure than pain. I hate pain and on a scale (0-10) I will rate this a 4 and a half ! So I recommend it :) !

You CAN have the headphones on but it's a little hard (depending on the piercing or w.e.)

And, you wont be able to use them for at least a few months.. or less, depending on the time it takes to heal

K so where ever you went to get this done, dont go back just during this video i saw like three violations of sterilization, you tucked your hair be hind your ear, she should have resterilized, she put your hair behind your ear she should have switched gloves and resterilized and she should not have held onto the clamp she should have put a small band around it and set it against your ear.

@sophiemichelleamelia Hey so the clamp bind (elastic) is just for hands free, im assuming that after they put it on they laid it down against your head. its just so that they wont lose the placement. but anytime they use one it is extremely important that it doesnt cause you any discomfort, it should be snug but not painful!
