This is a great video. I know many of these faces I think. I used to live here for three consecutive summers. It was a wonderful experience but times can be challenging like any other place you live.
Thank you, Rachel and friends. My favorite parts are what you all said. This is very informative and uplifting. I feel like I just visited Ananda Village.
There is nothing unique about this community. Many similar communities have existed in the past.
Spirituality has different dimensions. To say only those who believe in yoagananda can live here is not right. You may as well call this a "Yogananda community" rather than "Ananda community". It remains to be seen if it will survive once its founder is no more. Most communities in the world have floundered for want of proper direction and leadership once the founder is gone.
Best spiritual school is home itself. As someone growing up in India, i can vouch for the fact that best spiritual lessons can be learnt at home itself. There is no need for a community. It has become necessary in the west (and increasingly so even in India) because family values have taken a nosedive due to increasing materialsim.
I would just like to say thanks for this video upload. I currently live in the UK, but have been drawn to the Ananda community since a young age. Although I have visted Ananda in India several times to see Kriyananda, I wanted to know what Ananda was like in America, and this video gives me a good idea.
God you guys are awesome. Beautiful work rachel... As "borntofreedom" said it was definitely genuine and not contrived. So happy to see Luke in there. Love you all and miss you so much after watching this

This is great! Very genuine, doesn't seem put-on or scripted. Fresh faces, intelligent and sincere. I'd like to see them in 10-20-30 years!

This is really well done! Nice job showing what Ananda is like... I love how you showed the joy there in a very immediate and accurate way.
Well balanced, too. Now I just wish there was one that was feature-film length.
