Halo 1 was not to bad,it was polished and well built even for its time, 2 and 3 are nothing but cash ins that get worse with each new version.

We need less titles like Turok,Doom 3,Quake 4,Jericho and more titles like Clive bakes undying,,Dark watch,Alpha prime,Dues ex 1,Duke 3D even bioshock is slightly above the cash in status most FPSs fall in today....

Shadowgrounds is cool, although I think Alien Swarm is way better (and it's FREE!). As for the Halo games... the first one was interesting, and not too bad a game at all. Maybe even 7 out of 10 (PC) and 9 out of 10 (X-BOX). Since the first one they are nothing more than average console games. But there are no great console FPS games. It is impossible to make a great console FPS because of the control system. Quake 1 was the first, and Quake > Halo 1, so...
