The only truth to it is that there is a Dr. Abigail Tyler here in California but there's no in depth background on her credentials and whether or not it's the same person being references. this movie is supposedly entirely faked. but I do ask these ?'s: Y did they not list the actor who played Dr. Tyler? (the only way they cannot do so legally is if the actress got paid and signed some disclosure that she wouldn't sue) (maybe she did that?) then Y did they show the photos of a young girl (her daughter allegedly) and in the credits again, no other actor (child actor in this case) is mentioned in her part? they say in the credits also that the director & Dr. T played themselves???

If they had permission to film her for the movie they could have got permission to film at her old house. But what I found most annoying was:
1. They didn't show the police the video footage because it was "Distorted" but it was fine for the film.
2. The aliens understood English
3. The tape recorder that was on her chest still magically seemed to stay there while she was being "abducetd" because you could still clearly hear her breathing.

Man, you go through a lot of bother to prove something for yourself. I'll make this easier for everyone. Notice there are large coniferous trees around the house. Now go open up Google Earth, and put Nome Alaska into the "fly to" box. Look around. There are no trees anywhere near Nome Alaska. At 64 degrees North, large conifers do not grow. Conclusion: The real footage is BS. Thank you.

@MrPerfectVision you can answer your own question. the media doesnt want any of this getting out to the public so you wouldnt find it on the news simply because the media is considered real and the people would panic. now put it in a movie and first not that many people would see it compared to how many people watch the news, second you would have skeptics denying it.
