By studying them, we can eventually establish where the psychosis lies and treat it. Because while we all understand that sexual orientation is not a choice, religion sure is a choice and can be a dangerous one.
Speaking in tongues is something that has been done for thousands of years, so I do my best not to criticize it before I understand it's history and place in religion. Unfortunately for this man, he's on the wrong side, and his prayers won't be answered.
In the end times, what is wrong will be considered as right, and vice versa. I think lots of Christians (including myself) need to listen to that lesson a little more... Because the gays seeking equality aren't the ones living in the wrong.

Speaking in tongues does have a history, I'm afraid. The book of Acts includes two references of people speaking in tongues and their supposed connection with God. Regardless of your religious ideology, the Bible is at least a historical reference of that.

As we have proven with neurology as a person speaks in tongues their brain activity diminishes, similar to when a person just starts babbling, meditating, or thinking too deeply. You will eventually start to feel a buzzing or pulling feeling in your head that is kind of warm and fuzzy. This is a neurological miss fire caused by nerves in your eyes trying to focus on something that isn't there. While its disorientating with your eyes open, with them closed it feels spiritual, despite that its not.
