This actually takes me back to childhood, when I was more readily open to music like this.

I don't listen to a lot of serious contemporary music and have become almost addicted to catchier rhythms, if nothing else--but this gorgeous in a way that I vaguely remember once finding more immediately accessible than I do now.

Interesting piece. Being an "uneducated" listener to this freer form of music, this is so different than my usual listenings. I found myself wishing I could talk with the composer to learn what thoughts led to the creation of the piece. I tried to imagine what art or graphics the composer would approve to be shown as it is played. A good experience-stretcher for me!

thank you. one can google the composer for her direct contact and ask her response. Actually, this "freer" form of music is tightly structured and very precise in notation (except for a few passages indicated as "freely improvised" around a set of given/suggested notes. that it comes across as free-sounding is a tribute to the writing---and to the players. given more rehearsals/performers, there would be, I think, still greater interplay and freedom. graphics could be interesting.
