Demo's are not supposed to be heard outside the band. The fact that fan's can listen to them shows you how incredible Pete is.

yayaya, the accordion... it's a Demo, meant for playing to the band... he didn't even want to record this song, it was a joke... Bill Curbishly just happened to love it too much
however, I LOVE the banjo!!!

This IS a cool version..I agree with those who like more guitar, but after all, it IS about a "squeezebox" and I guess it was written for one to be used. Cool arrangement!

These demos were recorded so Pete could play them for the band and they could learn the songs. They were never meant to be released. Pete recorded them in his house playing all instruments.

@rvj22rvj You are rightly right . I'm amazed that so many people miss that and keep on saying that Rog sings better and John and Keith play better. It's OBVIOUS that they do that better than Pete "Fuck.n' Genius" Townshend...

I didn't know townsend could play the accordion! But I do like the guitar better.

Great version, though I think I like it better with more guitar. I guess he did too as that was the version he released.
