  • What year is this bike? is it for sale?

  • nice rims, did they come standard on that bike? i have a cb400 but with the comstar ones, looking to replace them with spoked wheels instead.

  • damn it. i just got an 85 450. and was wondering about the seat. also, question: my friend is selling a 99 or 2000 sazuki 900 crotch rocket. should i pick that up and try and make it into a cafe racer? i dont really know anything about bikes but i fell in love and now they are all i want to do with my time. im even thinking of going to MMI or some motorcycle school cause they are so badass.

  • i have one and these guys saying shit about them offends me -i drive mine every day to work 46 miles round trip and its the best handling bike i've been on and very reliable=once it broke down on me 'turns out i ran it out of gas' i get bikers complimenting me all the time on my bike i was gonna upgrade to a 750 but this is just too fun to ride -i couldn't give her up

  • looks killer!...and sounds like its ready to eat something!..nice job...

  • where did you get the handlebars from?

  • first off its a bad bike to build from due to the shitty rear end that comes factory. I bought a cafe style seat and it wouldnt fit due to how the frame dipped down in the back. what I did was cut the rear frame horns and opened them up. then took a piece of pipe and bent it into a u shape then bent it up. Then tack welded on a sheet metal seat, thats how I road it all the time. In the future look for a straight tube rear section, it will make life easier

  • Did you buy that seat? Also, how did you mount it without the original seat pan? I just bought the same bike and am trying to figure out what I want to do when it comes to replacing my seat.

  • @bengland7786 you can check my video of my CB400, a guy just asked me about my seat & i posted all the info on it.

bugasm is right, these aren't good bikes to simply buy & bolt on stuff. that means we as owners sometimes have to be really creative to find something we like & something that works.
