Well, I rather have seen her high school series than this. I do love Ed Fargo and her high school series were far more interesting. Oh well. I think it would have been better to pick someone else. Rachel's looks are too soft and Gaia's are more profound and sharp, not round. Can't have it your ways always though. I always thought the first model on the books was perfect. Did they change? I'm pretty sure they did...

Ever thought that maybe it isn't trying to BE a fair representation of the novels? I've read them too, and anyone with half a brain could tell you that yeah, she isn't THE Gaia Moore but it is using Gaia's life story as a back ground. It wasn't made for all the fans of the novel, it was made for everyone. And I think, understanding that, they did good.

i read all the books, and beleive me, Racheal is NOT Gaia Moore...being a great fan of the books you see...Rachael has blueish greyish eyes and dirty blonde hair...she's meant to be tall and with muscles...no offence to this girl, but really, she isn't Gaia at all...

no i don't think she had blonde hair. I haven't read the book in awhile but i believe that gaia went to parks in a blonde wig to attract predators so she can practice fighting them. but i don't think she ever was a blonde.

i think the idea was for gaia to look innocent; as though she wouldn't be fearless. i believe that's why they cast rachel. i would have liked to see a full season with a few changes.
